CHRISTINE "CHRISTY" WOODS had so many regrets she wasn't able to count them by now. One of them being such an asshole towards nearly everyone she passed. Why was she like that? Yeah, Christy had no idea why either. Guess it was a shit coping mechanism . . . ? But she maybe knew where it came from, she knew why she called herself Christy when her whole family called her Christine.

It all started the summer off nineteen eighty-three, Christy and this boy were best friends and so close that people had a theory that they were more than just friends. They believed that Christine Woods and James Blank were a couple. That was a big fat lie. Back then Christy had her innocence in place, but it was lost. Christy had lost her innocence the day that her hand rested on the trigger of a loaded gun. Her innocence was lost the day that her best friend died― thank god it was not because of her― and she had no tears left to cry. Chrstine Woods was a monster, no secret within the words.

But somehow, the new girl from Sunny California saw between the lines of that sentence, gave her a helping hand to build herself up again and gave her a way to a safe place where it always was sunny, where you could sit silent and just have your arms wrapped around one another.

Her ice covered heart was warming up, ready to run the fastest it could.
