"Stop running around!" Yureum's vocal chords ache by the constant shouting. She jogs around the hall, chasing her daughter as the toddler giggles, running away from her mother.
"Get back here, missy!" Yureum says, trying to sound threatening but her words coming out more as a helpless plea.
"No." Her daughter sticks her tongue out to Yureum — something she's learnt recently from her friends. The toddler runs around the large chair, dodging Yureum with nimble movements.
She runs into Jungkook, head hitting against his leg as she stumbles backwards with a small oof. Jungkook looks down at his daughter, tongue pressed against his cheek as he gives her a strict look. He breaks out into one of his iconic bunny smiles and picks up his daughter, swirling her around twice along with a whee.
Yureum breathes in relief to see Jungkook pick up her daughter. She strides over to Jungkook, the napkin in her hand.
"Jungyu, how much have we been troubling mommy?" Jungkook brushes his daughter's hair behind her ear, cocking his brows twice.
(A/n: y'all see what I did with the name 👀 Jungkook + Yureum = Jungyu)
"Not. No." Jungyu replies in broken language, making Jungkook grapple with the smile that threatens to come onto his face.
"Liar," Yureum snorts, teasing Jungyu.
"Liar not!" The toddler puffs her cheeks. She attempts to pout, but ends up blowing messily instead. Jungkook and Yureum chuckle at it.
"Alright, now it's time we take our bath," Jungkook pets Jungyu, all three of them walking over to the main bathroom.
"Why don't you go take some rest?" Jungkook propositions, "I'll take care of Jungyu."
"I'm not crazy, Jungkook," Yureum states matter-of-factly, "I won't let you take Jungyu into the bath alone."
The king pouts. "Why not? She loves it when I give her a bath." He argues.
