She wasn't familiar with the monarchy of Portugal.

"Nin, he does look a lot like your father." She could hear bewilderment in Maha's voice.

Napalunok siya. The king has an uncanny resemblance with his late father. Hindi naman carbon copy talaga, but he could still be mistaken as his twin. Lalo na noong kabataan ng ama niya. His sickness took away the youthfulness in his face.

"The fall of King Leon Emanuel Algarves," simula ni Tor. "He was abdicated by his throne after the mass massacre of his kingdom. Nobody saw him again after. He fleed."

"Is he the king who killed Hanael's family?" Simon pointed a finger at the King's portrait on the screen.

Tor nodded. "Hanael loathed him the most. He became his secret mercenary. The king had locked him down in an underground prison and Hanael spent his childhood and adulthood in the palace underground. Nobody knows his existence. The King made Hanael his secret weapon against other colonies who tried to take over Portugal during his reign. Including those noble and low class people na gustong turuan ng leksyon ng hari."

"It was already Nathanael." "I'll explain it clearly." Nagsimula itong magsulat doon ng parang mapa or more like a concept map. "Monsanto is the village of Hanael. The kingdom is here. It's far from each other.

"Because Hanael's parents killed the princess," confident na sagot ni Jam.

"Yes, but it was just an alleged assumption that the King immediately concluded as facts. Magia belongs to a family of ancient wizards and sorcerers. And they were referred to as cursed people for using black magic as their source of income. Hanael's parents hid their identity and migrated to a small village for their peace of mind and para sa kaligtasan ng mga anak nila."

"They don't do magic anymore?" curious na tanong ni Simon.

"They still do, but not to the extent of killing someone. They sell and create herbal medicines which can cure different types of diseases and minor sicknesses. That explains the basement spell room in their house in Monsanto."

"It wasn't his parents who killed the princess. It was the other Magia."

"What do you mean?" ni Jam.

There was actually a little village in Portugal kung saan naninirahan ang mga katulad nila – socerers, witches, and the like. It was previously called Encanta, but it's no longer in the map of Portugal. The Magia was the head chief of that village. But it was burned down a long time ago by King Alfonso, Leon's father. Juancho and Blanca's parents survived the arson.
