~Chapter 4~

Designations

Since Starscream wanted you to leave him alone you decided to go back into the kitchen and continue smashing the Energon crystals..he might be here for a while if you convince him to stay...you're still wondering how he's alive and at this size..and you think he's wondering the same thing..
The crystals smashed easily as you poured the liquid into a large pitcher you used for fruit punch, might have to find another one to put your punch into.
After pouring another bowl of Energon into the pitcher you heard a small "tick" you didn't think much of it until you heard more little "ticks". You turned to where you heard them to see Starscream slowly walking towards you and when he met your eyes he immediately froze.
To be honest you were quite surprised to see him approach you. You dropped everything you were doing and knelt down in front of them "Hello there." Starscream immediately lifted his arm right at your face as a missile popped out "Oh-"
"Listen here human! I'm going to attempt to speak in a language you understand!" Starscream yelled in a surprisingly stern tone, despite him being absolutely terrified just a couple of minutes ago "O-Okay okay! Just put the missile away and let's calm down..." You said with a nervous grin. You weren't scared of getting hurt, you just didn't want any more holes in the walls.
"I'll lower it when I'm ready to.." he snarled as he slowly walked closer to speak to you more clearly "As you can see I'm in a..unfortunate situation and in desperate need of a base...and since you have a stable Energon supply. I am going to reside here..and you DO NOT have a choice..." Starscream stops right in front of you before putting his arm right against your leg as a sort of threat "Do you understand me?.."
Oh..my god...being threatened by a small Starscream was so..incredible..you couldn't help but giggle as Starscream looked up at you with a face full of embarrassment and anger "What's so funny?!" He yelled with fury. You continued giggling, covering your mouth to try and hide it but it was no use "I'm sorry! I'll let you stay with me." You said trying to calm yourself down as Starscream continued to glare at you "I wasn't asking to stay..."
As you were trying to calm yourself down Starscream laid his eyes on the half-filled pitcher on the counter. He looked at it with desire in his expression before he turned back to you "Human."
You had finally calmed down and turned to look down at him "I have a name you know, it's (Y/N)" You said to which Starscream scoffed "I don't care, flesh bag!" You smirked as you got back up to your height making Starscream choke on his breath before backing up slightly "Okay then strange little metal creature with heels~"
Starscream glared at that nickname "You shall address me as Command-" Starscream quickly paused as he lowered his hand that was pointing in the air, to make himself look cool while he talked. You assume he was about to say Commander Starscream, this confirms your theory that he hasn't gone back to Megatron at this point. Starscream's face immediately changed into an evil grin "Address me as LORD Starscream!"
You couldn't help but smile as he put his hands on his hips full of pride, so adorable "Now, I would like some more Energon, flesh bag." Starscream said to which you furrowed your brows at him "I will when you call me by my name. It's (Y/N)!" You said making sure to pronounce every syllable just in case his little bird brain didn't understand.
Starscream growls at this behavior "You creatures don't even deserve designations!" Starscream yelled, turning around on his heel, back facing you, as he crossed his arms. You couldn't help but giggle again which just made Starscream glare at you with beaming red eyes.
You turned to the pitcher of Energon and smirked "Well if you don't call me by my designation, Lord Starscream." You grabbed the pitcher as Starscream watched you with one of his long curvy eyebrows raised "I'll just pour out all of the Energon."
Starscream's wings perked up as he gasped "Y-You wouldn't!" He shrieked, pointing a long finger at you "Oh..but I would.." You held the pitcher over the sink and began to tilt it slightly. Starscream frantically switched his gaze between you and the pitcher "Stop this at once!" He begged trying to sound demanding but he could hear the fear in his tone. You said nothing as you continued to tilt the pitcher, just as the Energon was about to escape the pitcher you heard a loud groan "OKAY FINE!"
You immediately lifted the pitcher and put it back on the counter. Starscream sighed with relief only to immediately glare right at you afterward "I'll refer to you by your designation, (Y/N).." He said, crossing his arms with a huff.
You smirked "Good, now let me go get-" As soon as you took a step forward Starscream immediately let out a shriek as fell back onto his bottom. You stepped back looking down at him "Oh my god I'm sorry! I didn't mean to scare you.." You said kneeling down in front of him again. Starscream held his hand over his chest, his chest moving up and down "Watch where you step flesh-..(Y/N)!"
You weren't even near him when you took your first step...but then again that would scare the heck out of you..maybe you should move him somewhere where he won't be on the floor. "How about I put you on the counter so you don't get stepped on." You said putting your hand down onto the floor in front of him.
Starscream backed away from your hand "I am not getting on your fleshy disgusting hands!" He yelled keeping as far of a distance from your hand as he could. You looked down at your hand and pulled it back, oh c'mon they aren't that bad.."Then..how about you get on..." You glanced around your kitchen before laying your eyes on a cutting board "This!" You picked up the cutting board and set it down in front of him.
Starscream looked at the cutting board and back at you...he didn't trust a giant human holding him but..he didn't trust walking on the ground around a giant human either..Starscream raises his foot slowly before walking onto the board "Okay I'm going to lift it up. Ready?" You asked slowly, nudging your hands under the board. Starscream looked up at you with a hesitant and worried expression before he answered with "Yes.."
You nodded before slowly lifting up the board, trying to be gentle as ever as Starscream let out little surprised gasps "Careful!" He hissed "Sorry!" You slowly set the board down onto the counter, letting Starscream jump off of it.
You moved the board to another section of the counter as you knelt down so you were at eye level with Starscream "Better?" You asked. Starscream looked at you with a calmer expression than before "Yes, much better.." Starscream responds, walking closer to your facing still keeping a distance "Now about the Energon I requested..."
You nodded with a soft grin on your face "Of course, Lord Starscream~" You said as you walked out of the kitchen, as you were leaving you swore you saw his wings perk up a bit.
You picked up the medicine cup that had been left on the couch..hope Starscream decides not to go back in there anytime soon..
As soon as you walked back into the kitchen you saw Starscream on the end of the counter that was beside the entrance "(Y/N), I have something to ask you." Starscream started as you set the medicine cup on the counter "Yes Starscream?" You asked starting to fill up the cup "LORD Starscream..remember that.."
You rolled your eyes "Yes yes sorry..Now, what were you about to ask?" You asked, setting the Energon-filled medicine cup in front of him. He picked it up and immediately gulped it down within seconds, while you just watched with a shocked expression. Poor thing must be very hungry..
Once he finished he lowered the cup and sighed "I was about to ask..if you knew where the rest of my wing was." Starscream motioned to his half wing, which bobbed up and down lightly. You let out a wince as you scratched the back of your head "I don't really know...it's either in the car or it fell off while you were in the air."
"What do you-" Starscream stopped mid-sentence, his face, his body, everything froze. You stared down at him as he continued to stay in that position, was he..having a flashback? This must be what the others see when someone has a flashback. You sat there for around 2 minutes before Starscream let out a gasp as he put a hand on his head "Welcome back."
Starscream looked up at you, rubbing his head "I..remember having my wing before I..crashed...so it has to be in your vehicle.." Starscream said. You hummed with a nod as you lifted yourself up and grabbed the cutting board "Aren't you going to retrieve it?" Starscream asked as you set the cutting board in front of him "I will, but it's getting late. We both need rest. I'll go look for it in the morning."
Starscream didn't seem to like this answer as he backed away from the cutting board "What if another fleshy snatches it?! Do you know how many times Knockout has complained to me about humans trying to break into him?" Starscream asked to which you giggled at "Even if someone did break into my car. I don't think a tiny jet wing is that valuable to them."
"What are you talking about?! A seeker's wing is extremely valuable! I had multiple cybertronians try to cut off my wings to gain a profit..." Starscream said, lowering what was left of his wings. You were quite intrigued by this discovery..So Cybertronians have an equivalent to the black market..I wonder what it's called on Cybertron. Maybe you can ask him another time..but for now...I guess you'll have to get that wing "Okay...how about you stay here and find somewhere you'd like to stay while I go get your wing? I have to cover that hole you left anyway..."
Starscream looked up at you before letting a slightly amused smirk "You really trust me alone in your base?" He asked with his arms crossed and his hip poppin' out on his right side. You smirked right back at him "Well Lord Starscream, if I find a trashed apartment when I get back I'm flushing you down the toilet." You said bending down to his height and poking him right on the chest with your pointer finger. Starscream lets out a frightened gasp at the sudden contact as he quickly backs away from your colossal hand only to bump into your other hand, which you cupped behind him to prevent him from moving any further.
"WHAT THE FRAG'S A TOILET?!" He yelled pinning himself against your hand, not having the strength to run everywhere else. Your grin grew wider "It's where humans go to "let out all the food they consumed." You said as you watched Starscream's jaw drop, with both an expression filled with disgust and udder terror "THAT'S DISGUSTING!" He yelled as he crawled away from your hand and sat down right in front of you..wait..why does this like famil-

"I PROMISE I WON'T TRASH YOUR BASE! JUST PLEASE DON'T FLUSH ME DOWN THE TOILET! I BEG OF YOU!"

After Starscream's cry for mercy, he looked up at you with begging, glowing red eyes..You remembered all the times he put on these sad faces to make everyone feel bad for him...and to be honest, it worked for you when you first watch the show...and it still does now..
You had wide eyes as you pulled both your hands away from the seeker, who continued to stare at you with puppy dog eyes...God damnit..
"I..Sorry I scared you I was just teasing you..even if I did find out you trashed my apartment I wouldn't flush you down the toilet..it's too harsh." Starscream blinked and immediately his begging stare changed to a rather confused one..his acting never worked on someone like that before.."Oh.." Starscream immediately got back on his heels and brushed off one of his legs "I knew that.." He didn't know that.
After this...weird interaction something popped into your head "Oh wait...I just remembered something." You couldn't believe you had forgotten about this..guess all this worrying about Starscream took your mind off of it "Remembered what?" Starscream asked. You looked down at him and smiled "I have a little surprise for you." Hearing this made Starscream's wings perk up "Really?" He asked, "Yeah, c'mon I'll show you." You said tapping your finger on the cutting board.
Starscream understood this as an invitation to get on so he did, once he gave you a look that said "What are you waiting for?" you lifted up the cutting board before exiting the kitchen with a complaining Starscream. Saying that you were being too rough and whatnot, but you didn't care.
You walked down the small hallway of your apartment and stopped in front of a door at the end of the hallway. You put the cutting board on one arm as you opened the door. The door led to a not-so-empty room, mountains of boxes piled upon each other. It looked like a city compared to Starscream.
"Since you'll be staying here. You'll need a room of your own. And since I have this extra room, I might as well give it to you." Starscream observed the room he was given..it was massive compared to him..yeah the boxes took up a lot of room but..it was better than an alleyway "Don't worry, I'll take care of the boxes."
You set the cutting board down letting Starscream hop off and onto the carpet. Starscream looked eyes with you as you tucked the cutting board between your arm "I..appreciate the hospitality, (Y/N)." Starscream said, looking down at his feet, seeming embarrassed.
You smiled "You're welcome..Now I'm going to go get your wing. I'll be back as soon as I can." You said before walking out of the room, leaving the door open so Starscream could leave whenever he pleased

Starscream's POV

What..Just happened?..Why is this human being so...kind towards me?..It doesn't even know what I have done to other humans..
The human..or (Y/N) seemed to have felt really bad after I begged it not to flush me down the toilet.."This human..seems to have a soft spot for things smaller than it.." I said aloud to myself..perhaps....I couldn't help but smirk "I can use this..to my advantage.."
