CHAPTER 8

Izuku POV

I'm already in week 11, or should I say, my third month. I'm almost into my second trimester. To be honest, I had to take my days off at week 9, but I feel like I'm still doing fine. Now, I'm on my way to my workplace.

Oh, and about Ochako-san... Seems like she can accept me well. She's been helping me these past few weeks, and I couldn't be more grateful. I am so lucky to have a friend like her.

I walked slowly towards my agency. Ahh, I'm so nervous! How should I say it? It would sound suspicious if I said I was sick... No, everyone would be worried! Should I be honest with one more person? But who... Someone to rely on.

Yaomomo-san?

We coincidentally work at the same agency. She is strong, smart, and I have to admit that she is very beautiful. She's also quite wise... Maybe i should tell her?

"Congratulations!" "Shh!" Yup, I told her. "Oops, sorry!" Even so, Ochako and Yaomomo are the only people who know about my pregnancy for now. Shit, I forgot about Mom! Maybe I'll tell her after this... How could I possibly forgot about one of the most important people in my life? Stupid Izuku!

"I'm happy for you, Izuku-san! So it's 11 weeks now, right? You have a slight bump... You have to be super careful!" I blushed a little. "Y-yeah... Thank you."

"But how about Katsuki-san? Where is he? Last time i saw him is when he's patrolling with Denki-san..." I went silent. I looked down, before taking a deep breath. "I don't want to talk about it." She seems to understand what I meant by that. But she decided not to say anything, knowing how emotional i can be as a pregnant person.

"Hey, maybe I can help you out a bit, as a woman, and someone with experience. I helped Fuyumi-san when she was pregnant a few years ago, and also a close friend of mine recently. I'll be sending lots of other suggestions through messages later!" Yaomomo-san said with a smile. Uwah, everyone is so nice to me. Too nice!

We talked for a while, then I filled out and signed some papers. To not cause panic, I've also made a tweet stating I'm taking 7 months days off. Perfect. Now I just go to Mom's house then continue my days without Kacchan... No, focus, Izuku! Now is not the time!!

I left the building. Everything is perfectly fine, no problem at all... Then I heard a loud noise.

BOOM!

"What the hell was that?!" Then, I saw a diamond shop being robbed by some villains. The sound of the bomb reminded me of Kaccha- Stop it!

"Hey, put it down!" There weren't any heroes here yet, so I took action. The first villain seemed to have a fire-related quirk, while the other one had a big hole in his chest... He started pulling something out of it and... a bomb!

One by one he threw the bombs at me, but I dodged them easily. I glanced and saw one of the bombs hit an old building and caused it to collapse. There's a little girl and her mother down there!

I used my black whip to contain the rubble. I ran to them and shouted, "Get out of here, it's too dangerous!" Suddenly, I felt a sharp pain in my stomach. I let go of my black whip and held my stomach tightly. Damn it... Then I remembered.

My doctor told me not to use my quirk for a while as it could harm the baby. Oh God, how could I have forgotten?! Shit, I can't do anything now. I can only wait-

"K-kacchan?"

I feel a sharp pain on my head. Am i bleeding? How about the baby? It's ok, right? Please tell me it's ok...

I looked down and saw that my belly looked fine, my dirty hoodie covering it. But it hurts. It hurts so damn much i started to cry. Please don't die on me, baby...

I saw Kacchan ran into me before everything went dark.
