Spending more time on checking and rechecking their income for the past few months,

Checking if their liabilities were still at least two or three digits away from their net worth and their assets and expenses still balanced like how it’s supposed to be,

Chaewon’s sure that the several capitals under her branch are in a much more better shape compared to how it was 3 months ago,

Their income actually became two times higher this time around and other than bringing good news and money,

She can sense the good luck that has come into their arms as soon as autumn came in as the food they offer are indeed more fitting to the said season since it was her mom’s favorite,

And her being the owner, had the menu filled with foods and drinks fit for the seasons other than summer.

“Make sure that the landlady remembers that we still have 3 months of rent paid in advance back in May okay!”

Shouting from the door as she waited for Martin to come out, Soohyung was unbelievably still there with them even though her shift ended like an hour ago already,

Chaewon’s not really sure why but it looks like she’s waiting for them as of now,

Seeing a shadow pop up from the back as the sound of keys hitting each other echoed through their doors,

Chaewon saw Martin’s iconic trench coat over him meaning he’s just doing his job of double and triple checking things before he goes home.

“That’s still good until November as of what I remember and I know that you have the signed receipt for that and not me, definitely not with me”

“I know I know, you throw things carelessly, I have them in an envelope back at the office”

His words barely getting understood by Chaewon as he pulled the last part of their metal gates across the restaurant before locking it by the bottom,

The guy grunting as he squatted down before Chaewon could even try testing their own security system by pulling the gates upward.

“Looks like this could still last us at least 5 more years”

“Oh trust me, your dad has the best security measures in the industry”

A very common compliment someone who has both of their parents very nurtured and known within the industries they specialize in,

Chaewon’s used to their work but it still bothers her how much they give attention to their jobs rather than their kids,

Yes they’re already in their 20s but what happened to the saying that
“Kids will always be kids”?

Walking past Martin and Soohyung who ran for their ride before it could leave without them,

Chaewon gave them a smile as a goodbye as she watched the both of them barely making it in the bus with the door closing right in front of Martin’s face,

She’s not surprised and she didn’t see it coming but Soohyung was actually his niece that’s why she was waiting earlier so,

Chaewon thinks that whatever charm it is they both had, must run from their blood since the two of them clearly knew how to get on her good side on their first day.

Unlocking her bike from the rack the park finally bolted onto its walls,

This is a hobby Chaewon has since she grew up in a big and very privileged neighborhood back at her parents house,
