"I'm surprised you still managed to buy fresh stuff at this time."

"The stall vendors know me."

"They know what I need and what I'll buy so I pick what I want and pay them like any other human being."

Talking over the newly bought food and produce taking over every given space Chaewon's countertop has to put
stuff on top on,

Her Aunt Seohyun likes to spoil Chaewon and her brother in this way.

She knows how this simple job of buying fresh fruits and crisp produce,

Can be exhausting for someone who doesn't know what they need to do and no,

She's not their personal maid buying them food every time they need their fridge restocked because believe it or not,

This is her first time actually meeting Chaewon after two months and her brother Heecheol,

Already knows the basics of going to a wet market so she's fine with knowing his new learned skill as of now.

"So they keep fresh produce in stock for you?"

"Yup, some receive their deliveries in the afternoon so they aren't having a hard time with displaying fresh stuff, and for the fish and meat stuff, they keep mine in a cooler at a back."

"Trust really matters with the good stuff 'Chae."

Handing Chaewon a Tupperware full of chicken breast and another filled with cubed lean pork,

She only buys those that her niece will truly eat since her being 25 and not knowing that much dishes to cook,

Doesn't mix well with her being a slightly bit of a picky eater when it comes to seafood,

She can only cook shrimp and two other kinds of fish which is already better than ordering fast food.

Chaewon never really got the time she needed to cook around the kitchen with her mom's job,

And their trusted helper/very talented cook back at their house quit her job when she turned 18,

So she never really got to learn from anyone else after that, she always loved helping her cook and Chaewon surely misses that bond.

"You still haven't considered hiring a person to buy you these kinds stuff Tita?"

"Hiring a person?"

Receiving a nod from her niece before actually receiving a plastic full of beef strips she'll use for the Tteokguk Chaewon asked her to cook,

Seohyun's still amazed at how Chaewon's affected with her not having a person to push around,

Buying the food you'll be eating with your own hands,

They already had this conversation back then and Chaewon seems to still be bothered with her Aunt going out at broad daylight,

Just to buy fresh poultry and firm tomatoes to cook for dinner at night.

She knew that her mom being an actress was never going to be the practical way to have a kid in the family,

That's why she was always by her side whenever she needed time off from taking care of her two kids,

And Seohyun would always accept the two with her arms opened wide to hug them both.

"Why would I?"

"'Cause you're literally a soon to be CEO of an electrical company?"

"The very electrical company that supplies electricity to SOPA and other schools and subdivisions near Seoul and Daegu?"
