Elodiel then smiled to herself finally embracing everything even herself,

Queen Elodiel.

She slipped into a traveling outfit and she gently and slowly put on her crown once her crown sat upon her head, she finally saw who she was all along. "I'm the Queen of Mirkwood, Mother of Prince Legolas and Wife of King Thranduil." she whispered to herself. 

The sun was about to come up and she opened the doors to Thranduil-- her and Thranduil's chambers and started to make her way towards the stables but when people saw her pass by and saw that she was wearing the clothes she normally wore, her hair was braided like she always did before especially she is now wearing her crown people bowed and cheered for their Queen. Elodiel smiled and nodded her head in acknowledgement. 

Right as she was about to arrive at the stables a familiar face stood in front of her. "Linesse?" Elodiel stood there almost forgetting but she quickly remembered "Bard! Bain! Sigrid! Tilda!" Elodiel greeted them each with a hug. "Wow! Linesse you look amazing!" Bain said as they all looked at her. Elodiel smiled and blushed but she said "I remember now," which made all their eyes widen.

"Well? What do you remember? That's great actually!" Bard said with a huge smile on his face, "I am Elodiel, Queen of Mirkwood." she said shyly, "I knew it!!" Tilda squealed "How did you remember?" Sigrid asked "It came to me in a dream and when I woke up I remembered everything," she replied "Well, I'm glad you remembered but that doesn't mean we won't be friends anymore." Bard said, Elodiel smiled and hugged Bard "Of course! I will always be that elf you remembered back in Lake Town." she said

"Where are you going?" Bain asked "Rivendell, Thranduil needs to know and he broke a promise. So I'm headed towards Rivendell." Elodiel replied "Alone? but you are the Queen of Mirkwood you can easily get killed." Bard exclaimed "I'm bringing two guards along with me, so don't you worry. Besides if I go alone Thranduil will kill me," Elodiel said but this made Bard laugh hard. "It's so funny, You're Queen of Mirkwood all along and you were about to kill Thranduil." Bard said through laughs which Elodiel laughed along.

"It was nice of you to visit me Bard-- but I really have to go," Elodiel said as she made her way towards one of the horses that looked familiar to her. "My Queen, We have orders from the King to not let you leave the Kingdom." one of the guards said behind her, she turned around and recognized him easily. She smiled and said "Calanon? is it?" the guard blushed and bowed and said "Yes my Queen." another guard appeared behind him and Elodiel said "It's finally good to remember faces with name, Adanion?" the other guard smiled and bowed. 

"Tell me, Calanon and Adanion, when Thranduil would give me orders am I the one to obey?" she asked with a smirk, both ellons smiled like they caught someone's hand in the cookie jar and both said "No my Queen." Elodiel smiled and said "You two are coming with me."

The three of them rode out all of them armed with bows and arrows and swords. They all rode with haste trying to ignore any danger but of course they couldn't ignore the spiders but they easily took care of that. Once they reached the Misty mountains they ran into some wargs and if Elodiel didn't know how to fight then they would have been a goner but as they reached the top of the Misty moutains Elodiel remembered the day, the day she fell. The day that almost ended her life. She shuddered at the memory. Days have passed and once they were close to Rivendell Elodiel couldn't help but feel excited. She couldn't contain the smile that stretched across her face or how her legs were shaking with anticipation. Calanon and Adanion noticed their Queen's excitement and couldn't help but feel excited as well.

Long has the kingdom of Mirkwood have been living under a shadow their king living under a dark cloud, grief and sorrow was their days but now that their Queen was back. Their source of sunshine and hope was back, they knew things would now be different especially with the evil spreading across Middle Earth and Mirkwood was slowly being consumed they knew their Queen would always be there to fight.
