Homer is at his desk as his office, for some reason took doing his job for once. Unknown to him, he'll witness a strange conflict that deals with a common problem, that'll require his ammunition. Burns, as usual, is in his office, staring straight at the cooling towers, despite a strange reddish color in the air. Smithers arrives with Burns' typical breakfast. Burns notices Smithers.

"Ahh, just look at this. If the skies are going to have a color change, at least make it the color of nuclear waste." Burns said.

"Umm, mother nature has her nuclear plant, that doesn't play by the rules. Nuclear waste tends to be of different colors. Just look at what happened in Chernobyl." Smithers said.

"At least, they had to learn a lesson. If you have to run an examination, make sure there's enough timing. Nuclear power takes painstaking work, even the idiots here could do better. At least the unfortunate souls who had to clean the mess were given a Pepsi." Burns said.

"Well, thanks to the trade restriction, that was worth more than any pay. At least, they didn't meet the fate of those people in the Kyshtym." Smithers said.

"Yes, a waste of resources... they could've used that radioactive waste as trade or fuel for things like vehicles. Ford had the idea with their models, but the Soviets just had to ruin for everyone. It would've made up for the Ford Edsel. If those beatniks hadn't got in the way, then..." Burns said.

Burns sees some lights.

"Hmm, who are they looking at, Batman?" Burns asks.

"Umm, it doesn't seem to be coming for our lights." Smithers.

Meanwhile, Bart was at school, as usual, somehow making the grade by redemption. Since a retired drill sergeant became the principal, thanks to a law that even Quimby couldn't do a thing, Springfield Elementary ended up being reformed... finally getting the much financed it needed while coming up with creative punishments. Still, a word about the skies being a reddish color also got to the school, from nerds to bullies alike.

"Stupid judge, whose idea was it," Bart said.

"Well, you should consider yourself lucky, Skinner got even worse... being the principal of a boys' school." Milhouse reminded him.

"At least, their placement had to be worth it if Skinner was there. Still, does he have to do this?" Bart asks, showing Milhouse a piece of paper.

Milhouse reads the document, listing Bart's write-ups.

"What does ABC order mean?" Milhouse asks.

"It stands for Acceptable behavior contract, you dorks," Some kid said, passing by.
