Minji clenched on the plushie with her left hand and knocked on the door with her other hand. There was an instant 'come in' from the other side. She stood on her tips of toes and twisted the knob, opening it. She saw Hoseok sitting on his bed and also Jungkook there, who was laying on the bed.

"Hi, Minji." Hoseok's face brightened up when he saw her. "What brings you here?"

"Joon oppa said that you will be in the room. I want to show you my new plushie." She walked towards him, showing him her cat plushie. Hoseok put his phone down and picked her up since she was beside his bed and put her on his lap.

"You are showing this plushie to everyone." Jungkook raised an eyebrow and scoffed. "So childish."

"Stop being rude. She is a child, of course, she will act like this. When you used to get something new, you would throw tantrums in the whole mansion, screaming about your new toy." Hoseok glared at Jungkook, who looked away, feeling exposed.

Minji giggled at Jungkook's embarrassed self and he threw a glare at her. "Stop laughing, Tinkerbell."

"Tinkerbell?" She tilted her head.

"Yes, she is small and arrogant like you." Jungkook pinched his index finger and thumb together. 'And also cute like you', he thought.

"No, I'm not small and arrogant!" Minji showed her fist like she is going to hit him.

"Omg, I'm scared." Jungkook put his hand on his mouth with wide eyes and fake gasped, showing how 'scared' he is. He smirked when he saw her flaming in anger.

"Jungkook, stop," Hoseok warned Jungkook. 

"You!" Minji stood up from Hoseok's lap, throwing her plushie on Hoseok's lap and launched towards him. Jungkook was already laying on his back and she ended on his lap.

"Wha- AHHH!!!" Jungkook screamed when she grabbed his hair. Since his hair was long, she easily tangled them in her small fingers and pulled them. "Let go!!" He tried to remove her hands but they were stuck like glue on his hair. "Hyung, help me!!"

But instead of helping his brother, Hoseok laughed while pulling his phone out and recording them.

"What the fuck!?" Jungkook gritted his teeth. 

"Hey, don't curse in front of her." Hoseok glared at Jungkook but kept on recording them. Jungkook sat up, making Minji sit on his lap but she still didn't let go of his hair.

"Minji!!!" A feminine voice screamed. They shifted their eyes on the doorway and saw her mom standing there with a dark face. She stormed inside the room. Jungkook gulped, thinking that she will scold him because which mother wouldn't protect their daughter first instead of their non-biological son?

But all his expectations flew away when her mom harshly grabbed her arm, pulling her grip from his hair and slapped Minji in front of them. Jungkook gasped, watching Minji's face slowly turning into a sad one after the harsh slap she got from her mom. Jungkook was shocked because that was a very harsh slap for a six-year-old child like her. Never in his life, he got a slap from his dad nor his hyungs when he was around her age and even if he got one, it wasn't that harsh like her.

"Why were you pulling his hair?!" Her mom yelled and another slap landed on Minji's cheek, who cried in pain. "Is that what I taught you!?" She raised her hand to slap her again but Jungkook pushed her hand away, instantly pulling Minji closer to his chest.

"What are you doing, mom??!" He shouted with a frown.

"Teaching her lesson." She grabbed Minji's arm to pull her away but Jungkook didn't let her go. 

"Stop! She is so small for those harsh slaps!!" Jungkook pulled Minji closer to him, sticking her crying face in his chest. "Why are you hitting a small child for those small things?!! We were just playfully fighting and teasing each other! That's normal in between siblings!!!" 

"So what? Can't she see how old are you from her?? You both are 11 years apart! She should respect you, not hit you!!" Her mom sneered.

"I don't care about the age gap!! SHE IS MY SISTER AND I DON'T MIND IT!!!!" Jungkook shouted back at her with full rage. Because of his loud voice, all the family members, including their dad and Eunji came inside their room. They heard the yell since the door was opened.

"What is happening here!???" Mr. Kim shouted, watching Jungkook glaring at his wife while holding crying Minji in his arms. Eunji gasped when she saw Minji crying hardly in Jungkook's arms but didn't try to interfere cause the tension was already high in the room even though she wanted to hold Minji in her arms.

"Mom slapped Minji two times very harshly just because we were fighting playfully!" Jungkook looked at his dad.

"That didn't look like a playful fight! You were clearly screaming in pain and that's all because of her!!" Her mom hit Minji's thigh.

"Stop hitting her!!" Hoseok, who was silent the whole time finally burst his anger out.

"Honey, stop. You shouldn't do that to a six-year-old kid." Their dad tried to solve the situation calmly. Jin put his hand on Eunji's shoulder and comfortably squeezed it as he saw her staring at Minji worriedly. 

"What if your sons are fighting and harming each other?? What will you do!??" Her mom looked at her husband.

"Dad know that all these kind of fights are playful and normal in between siblings. He will only interfere when things go out of control. Besides, I don't think a 6-year-old child can harm a 17-year-old boy that badly that you need to hit her to teach her a lesson." Taehyung steps in between in the argument. He knew Jungkook likes to tease Minji cause he finds her reactions cute and he saw that in the mall. He knew Jungkook will never fight Minji and try to harm her in any way and Minji can't harm a muscular boy like Jungkook. 

"Taehyung is right. You shouldn't step in between sibling things. They can never harm each other at extreme levels." Their dad agreed with his son. Her mom was feeling defeated because even her husband was taking their side. She took a glance at Jungkook, who still glared at her and she stormed outside, pushing Eunji out of the way. Their dad stared at his sons and Eunji before also going out.

Eunji instantly ran to her sister to check on her. "Is she okay? Did mom hit her harshly?" She asked Jungkook.

"The slaps were harsh though..." Jungkook looked at Minji's body clinging on his t-shirt. Eunji felt like crying cause she thought that she failed to do her responsibility as an elder sister this time. A tear escaped from her eye at her thoughts. 

"Hey, don't cry." Jin walked to her and patted her back. 

"Thank you, Jungkook oppa. If you weren't there, then mom-" Eunji was cut off by her own sob. Her mom never leaves mercy when it comes to these things.

"Calm down. Here, sit." Jin gently made her sit on Hoseok's bed. Jungkook started to pat Minji's head when he realized she slept after crying. Hoseok glanced at the cat plushie on his lap and then at Minji, who was still sobbing faintly in her sleep.

Yoongi, Namjoon, and Jimin walked inside while Taehyung closed the door and leaned against it. "Eunji," Namjoon called her, who was wiping her tear and she looked at him after wearing her glasses. "Does your mom always hits you both like this?"
