Lena's: POV
Lena was sound asleep when she heard Stef's phone ring. Lena has grown accustomed to Stef getting calls in the middle of the night, but she didn't expect for it to be happening while they were away for the weekend. After making love for hours
Both women fell asleep to the sounds of the ocean, Lena wasn't quite sure what time it was cause it was still dark outside. Lena was sleeping on top of her wife, finally the phone stops ringing. Lena was a lite sleeper
Stef slept hard especially when she was exhausted, Lena decided to get up and take a shower. The slightest noise could wake her, Lena puts on her robe and heads into the bathroom and turns on the shower. Lena knows Stef loves her job as a lieutenant,

till late at night at times, Lena can't to think Stef stays away from home on purpose. Lena tries to ignore the thoughts that float around in her mind, Lena steps in the shower

Lena stares down at her wedding band, she remembers as if it was yesterday when they first got married
All these memories flashes over her
Lena begins lathering her body with soap. Lena closes her eyes and takes a deep breath, she feels a panic attack
trying to come on. Lena doesn't understand why her brain keeps traveling to that dark place she's been trying to block out from her subconscious mind, Lena's psychologist warned about repressed memories might come back. Lena knows she has to remain strong
Lena rises off the soap from her body
She washes up a few more times
Lena shuts off the water. Reaches for the towel and wrapped it around herself, Lena steps out of the shower
And enters the room. And sees Stef awake, babe I thought you were sleeping. Lena said, l was until I heard get up do you wanna talk about what's bothering you Stef asks Lena
