She had never seen this much people.. all flashing their cameras at her..
It petrified her.. that's why she hid behind Sisera's body

" Ms Johannes we heard you adopted..

" Ms Johannes over here..

"Sisera... Why not marry someone?

" Johannes..

Sisera smiled warmly at them...

" This is my first daughter.. and last.. I fell in love with her the minute I saw her.."

Her assuring tone however did not calm the young girl to come into light..
One of the female reporters finding this  awfully cute she decided to pull her out

" Aww.. you little ---

She never got to finish that sentence..
The next thing that happened made the atmosphere eerie and silent .

River.. after feeling something touching her, boiled in the insides..
She used all her might to flung her hand to the woman's face..
Until she felt her fingers moist and warm..
She pushed her away ..
Due to the sudden pain the reporter stumbled back and fell along with her cameras..

' don't.. touch me..' she sneered

Sensing the eerie silence River looked up to find horrified stares..
Murmurs now filled the air..
She looked down at her fingers.. that's when she noticed the reddish liquid.. again, she had used her nails inappropriately

Her vision blurred..
They all saw her.. they now knew she was a monster..

" She..she touched me.."

She shook her head vigorously.. and afterwards sprung away..
She didn't know where she was going..
But only stopped in a dark alley.. she hugged her knees and bowed her head..

After few minutes she felt a presence in front of her
She looked up and met with that warm smile..

" Are you going to send me back to prison..?"

Sisera smiled.. how was she supposed to tell her that she was too young to be in prison it was just juvenile prison

" No.. I'm sorry I let her touch you.."

River hugged herself more.. " is she dead too.. did I kill her?"

Sisera squat in front of her.. " no.. she is fine.."

" Go away.. I'm a monster"

Sisera frowned.. River was surprised..
so she could frown?

" You are not a monster.. you just need some help.. "

River glared at her.. " from you?.."

Sisera smiled.." listen to me very carefully River.. I will never leave you.. "

" Why..?"

" Because I love you.. and love heals.."

After that statement.. River let her tears fall..
so that's all she needed..
love..?

She was still sniffing when she woke up..
She hated those dreams..
Those pieces of memories that haunted her even in her sleep..

She sat up.. looking at the time it was almost ten..
Ofcourse she'd wake up late after the tossing and turning
