Y/N'S THOUGHTS WERE HAZY; she felt light-headed, and her senses were tangled. It was unforeseen; she felt fatigued and drowsy. Her hand raked over her face, coming to a rest at her temple and massaging it in an attempt to ease the growing wooziness of her vision. Everything that wreathed her, or rather, everywhere she hurled her eyes, swayed and spiraled.

Assuming that the dizziness and the peculiar burning sensation surging through her body—engaged in the flow of her warm blood within her vessels that stretch throughout her physique—were merely her body's acknowledgment of the effect of the alcoholic beverage she guzzled down through her throat—Y/n had gained herself to provide her alarming surrounding absence of earnest scrutiny.

She proceeded to converse with the man beside her, the man who trumpeted his wealth through his appearance, and whom she viewed as someone who wouldn't inflict her any sort of harm, a genuine man, and someone who would be nice to befriend, though she wasn't particularly interested in the latter: she knew so little about him, and her glimpse of the masquerade was all she knew. She has an early impression of him based on his fake persona as someone decent and virtuous. Yet, beyond her knowledge, he was furtively waiting for her to enter the situation wherein she was absolutely defenseless and easily exploited, much like a victim caught in a spider's web, completely helpless and with no means of escaping. And by that, Y/N was indeed totally oblivious to the existence of the atrocious intent plotted in his brain.
