"Oh man... Chi do we have any food left?"

"We do but I'm not giving you any until we leave this place..."

Yuuri apparently had a good feeling about this factory having food, so much for that. We've been stuck in here for 2 days, I'm not even sure how far we've traveled.

"Oh hey! The wind!"

"What way is it coming from?"

"Uhhhh... Lemme just..." Yuuri licks her finger and moves it around before pointing left and saying "That way!"

As I turn the Kettenkrad the light at the end of the tunnel grows brighter and brighter, until eventually we reach the end of the door way. Flowers, grass, and other greenery populate the area. It's seems like the exact place people would roam before the war.

"Oh wow, this seems like a nice place to sleep." Yuuri already had a tired look in her eyes, but I kept moving, what else is there to do? They told us to go as far up as possible.

RORK!

"What was that" Yuuri pointed her gun in the general direction. A four legged creature came running, followed by another smaller one, and then another even smaller than that..

"Oi! Calm down you sodden tic tacs-! O-Oh shit... Alright I know what it looks like, but they're harmless! Don't shoot at 'em!"  A guy showed up, follow the creatures. With shoulder length hair it seems like he's been here a while... Must be a decent survivor if so...

"Tell me why I shouldn't just shoot all four of you right now"

"Hachiko! Come back" The guy shouted and the creature with a pure white coat returned to the man, the other three following suit. "See! Right back by my side! Now put down the rifle, and uh... I don't know you can pet them I guess?"

"Why would we want to touch some wretched, disgusting-?"

"Alright, I'm sold" Yuuri dropped the gun and went to the creature, heading straight for the brown one and burying her face into its fur.

"C'mon, none of them are disgusting, I bathe them every now and then. Probably more often then you guys if I'm judging by how dirty your face is..." The guy sat down, the four beasts immediately ran to him. Yuu chasing after the things.

"He's probably not wrong Chi... I think the last time we bathed was just a few days after we left the town, and who knows how long ago that was..."

"Actually, don't touch 'em" He held the four near him. "Ah, I guess since we're acquainted now I should've introduce myself. The name is Y/N, I already know your name Chii. Mind telling me your name blondie?"

"Yuuri, she calls me Yuu though."

"Well then. Yuuri, Chii, you lot want to travel together for a time with me and my dogs?"

Yuu pulled me in close and tried to keep a deadpan tone. "I'm saying we let him. Those 'dogs' are pretty cool..."

"As cool as they may look we don't have food for 5 extra mouths, or space for that matter."

"You guys might wanna whisper if you're trying to hide a conversation."

Well idk how else to end it. I'm still alive though, and as proof that this is recent. Half life Alyx but the gnome is alive act 2 episode one has a thumbnail that actually only says episode three.
