Previously on Red Strings...

"Hey guys! I'm sorry about what happened the past few weeks but I'm glad to be back!" I heard a familiar voice say as they walked through the door

"Ms. Rosaline!" I heard some of my class mates yell

'Shit' I thought. The seekers back and it's ON MY BIRTHDAY!

"I also heard it was someone's birthday! Happy birthday Midoriya" I heard her say snapping me out of my thoughts

"Oh, thanks you Ms. Rosaline!"

"Would you like to see your string? You are of age" I heard her ask which left me frozen. I got lost in my thoughts.

Do I? Would this make me happy? Do I want soulmates? But I'm not in love? Or am I? I mean there's Kaminari? Maybe kacchan? But there together with Kiri, right?

"Yeah Midobro! You totally should" I then hear Kiri say from his seat, with a lot of yes's and that would be cool's

I started to get nervous

"I, um...

Deku's POV

"I, um..." I looked around at my class mates to see happy and smiling faces, I then looked down at my desk

"Um, no thanks. I'd rather not, hehe." I said keeping my gaze fixated on my desk

"Oh, okay. Well I'll be in my room if any of you guys need me. Have a good day!"

No one's POV

And with that Rosaline left, leaving the room in an awkward silence. Until whispers started to erupt.

"Did Deku really just refuse the seeker?"

"What's his deal?"

"Is he hiding something?"

"Did that just happen?"

All these questions started to erupt, making Izuku feel attacked but nobody bothered to noticed, well maybe one did, or two, maybe even three.

"Tch, would you all just shut up!!" A loud blonde shouted causing all the whispers to die down.

"Thank you Kacchan" Deku whispered so only he could hear

Skip to lunch time

Deku's POV

It's lunch time, and I was making my way to the cafeteria when I started to notice people starring, whispering, and pointing at me.

"Is that him?"

"Really?!"

"Omg, how disgusting!"

As I walked by, I could feel the stares of everyone. I tried ignoring it but it was a bit difficult, they were all judging me, but why?

D-did I do something wrong?

"Izu!!" I heard a familiar voice yell

"Izu, is it true? Everyone's talking about it." I heard Shinso ask as he ran up to me. I then felt the stares intensify and the people become intrigued with our conversation

"Heh, Of course it's not true. Afterall, class 1-A are all goody two shoes right? Well probably besides that angry Pomeranian guy."

"Nieto, at least try to be nicer to them, they are my brother's friends"

"Tch, whatever"

"Uh, what are you guys talking about?" I asked completely confused
