"Bri, you need to breathe," Dahlia rubbed my back but it was hurting me to breathe. There were three critical injuries and one death, regardless of the outcome, my husband is either dead or in critical condition, and who knows if he'll make it through that.

I lifted up, trying to speak but I was crying so hard that I couldn't even get words out of my mouth. "It's okay, you don't have to say anything."

My mind was all over the place. I felt like my chest was about to cave in any minute. We had already been here for hours and they weren't releasing any information.

Michael had came, when I first saw him he had little to no emotion shown on his face before he ended up leaving. He said he'd be back, but it's been three hours and he hadn't said anything.

The only person we knew anything about was Kodi, and they were only keeping us updated because Xiomara was crying and screaming so loud that they didn't have much of a choice.

Kodi was fine, he had a few injuries but according to the doctor, he had it the easiest. A broken arm and a few cuts on his face and body, he was going to need stitches, but he was the least injured.

"Family of Syian Clark?" A doctor called out, causing me and Dahlia to look their way quickly. She had this look in her eyes, a certain look of sadness. That only made me tear up even more.

"Oh my gosh," I managed to get out, my chest feeling like it was going to cave in on me.

The doctor made their way over to us, fixing their glasses. "Are you two the family of Mr. Clark?" She asked, me and Dahlia both slowly nodding her head. "And what is your relation to Mr. Clark?"

"I'm his mother."

"I'm his wife." I answered, genuinely wanting her to get to the point.

"Okay, he has sustained multiple injuries such as a fractured rib, broken arm and wrist. He was also impaled in his stomach by a glass shard that came from the front windscreen." She explained, making me cringe. "He is now out of surgery and is currently responsive if one of you would like to go and see him."

Dahlia and I looked at each other before she slightly nudged me. "Go ahead, you're his wife."

I stood up and slowly made my way towards his room, trying to prepare myself for what he was going to look like once I got in there.

I got to the door and slowly opened it up, hearing heart monitors beeping in the background. Once I fully stepped into the room, I shut the door behind me. I'm guessing this caught his attention, because he stopped looking at the wall and stared at me.
