Chapter 42: Family Day

Before the story starts, here's something you should know. Evan trains Marinette in combat, solving, investigating, escaping, pretending, sneaking and spying because she might need one day.

Marinette likes it.

Family day has come. Marinette already informed the class about the whole family drama (That isn't over-) so they know...except being related to Kelsey. Before they entered, Evan stopped at the daoorway.

'Evan?' Said Misho.

'I don't wanna run into my sister...' Said Evan.

'We understand Evan. I REALLY don't wanna see her either, but I have no choice.' Said Sabine.

'Yeah but...I can't face her yet.' Said Evan.

'Ok then, stay here until you can come in.' Said Clarissa.

They went inside.

'Wow Marinette, that's a lot of people.' Said Mýlene.

'Hehe. Anyways...let me introduce these knuckleheads-'

'NOT knuckleheads!' Said Rhian.

'Whatever.'

Marinette introduced them one by one and of course, Arjo magically guessing CORRECTLY their personalities. Even Max was impressed.

Although she does wish that Evan would come in.

After the activities, Sabine and Tom were about to hand out the pastries.
Marinette, Adrien and Alya stopped them.

'Why?' Asked Sabine.

'Ginny Avira wants to pretend to have gotten poisoned by it.' Said Marinette.

'Not this bullsh*t again.' Said Sabine.

'What do we do though?' Asked Tom.

'Hm...give it anyway. I have an idea.' Said Marinette.

Sabine and Tom trust her so they continued.

The team went over.

'Why make them give it?' Asked Nino.

'Girl, what are you planning?' Asked Alya.

'We shouldn't really eat it until the actual announcement for lunch. I think she's gonna bite it as it's given. No proof because everyone will throw theirs away...' Said Marinette.

'Soooooo?' Asked Adrien.

'You guys will eat the whole pastry given to them. Seeing as it isn't poisoned. And to go far, one will grab a piece from Ginny and eat it, showing nothing's wrong.' Said Marinette.

'Nice. But who's eating her lying germs?' Asked Marc.

'I'll do it you dramatic idiots.' Said Alix.

'Cool.' Said Marinette.

Marinette decided to talk to her Father.

'Miss Bustier? Restroom?' Asked Marinette.

'Sure.'

Marinette went out.

'Hey Father.' Said Marinette.

'Hey kiddo. What's up?' Asked Marinette.

'You don't have to come in but...'

Marinette explained everything.

'That b*tch.' Said Evan. 'What do you want me to do?'

'Nothing much...just maybe confront her after it. I mean, you're a general and...shouldn't you confront her already? It's been years.' Said Marinette.

'How about this, I will confront her if she decides to cause a scene?' Said Evan.

'Works.' Said Marinette.

Aaaaaaannnndddd here we go.

Ginny and sh*t everyone.

'I think I was poisoned by Sabine and Tom's pastries!' Said Ginny, lying down to the floor coughing.

The team, Marinette and her family rolled her eyes.

Cue plan execution.

The team did their plan. Everyone looked at Ginny.

'S-She must've made seperate ones for h-her daughters friends!' Said Ginny, getting nervous.

Alix scoffed. 'Let's test it~'

She took Ginny's pastry, took a big piece and ate it.

No effect.

'You lied again Ginny.' Said Sabine.

Ginny was getting mad.

Lila and Kelsey wanted to leave but they can't.

'You....' Said Ginny, threateningly.

Marinette smirked. Kelsey helped her mom and they noticed Marinette's sinister look.

They ran over to her. Ginny slapped her.

'MS. AVIRA!' Yelled Ms. Bustier.

'You insolent child!' Yelled Ginny, about to attack.

Marinette prepared to defend herself.

That is, until Evan stepped in the middle, blocking the attack. He pushed Ginny back and glared at her.

Ginny and Kelsey were terrified, heck, everyone in the room was terrified.

'Wait...that's General Evan Avira...' Said Max.

The class was shocked.

Evan walked to his sister. 'If you dare decide to mess with my family again...you are gonna regret it.'

Ginny decided to be a pr*ck.

'Look who showed up after all those ye-'

'This is a warning.' Said Evan.

Mr. Damocles then called the Ginny and Kelsey to the principal's office.

'Yep.' Said Marinette.

'I can't believe that...' Said Rose. 'What did you even do to them?'

'Probably just anger and rage.' Said Nathaniel to make them stop interrogating Marinette.

Miss Bustier entered. She told them that Kelsey got expelled.

Those words were like music to the team and Mari's family's ears.
