THEY WERE SUPPOSED to keep guard, each had a turn but Melissa had abandoned hers once Daryl was sent for his questioning. Let's say it wasn't about his amazing people skills nor his way of talking and asking. Every punch, every screech, every sound of pain made Melissa jump in her spot, her mind played the same thought all the time; he's just a damn kid.

Almost a week had passed since Beth's attempted suicide and Rick's road trip to dump the kid. Midway into dumping him, they realized Randall knew Maggie from school, and that meant he knew where the farm was and who Hershel was and could, therefore, give the location to their camp. And so, they brought him back, still blindfolded and handcuffed him to the shed that stood a couple far away meters from the house and their settled camp.

And so, after five minutes since Daryl's arrival she'd left to join the others in the camp. Putting her mind to rest and think about the next few hours. They were trying to decide which way to go, execution or pardon him.

Melissa stood from her seat at the fallen log once she caught sight of the heavy redneck stalking towards their group, she shook the dirt from her hands as he neared them, "Boy there's got a gang, thirty men." he informed, gripping the strap of his crossbow tightly, "Got heavy artillery and they ain't looking to make friends. They roll through here, our boys are dead. And our women—they're gonna wish they were."
