                             THE RIDE BACK home was bumpy and blurry. She has flashes of the trees and the morning sky seeping through the night one and the worried eyes of Ben and Glenn turning back to her every ten seconds. She could feel the burning of the wound and the blood sticking to her skin, it had stopped pouring as Ben wrapped a ripped shirt around it to stop the bleeding yet it didn't stop the pain.

Her body shook as she got woken up by the screeching sound of the tires halting by the farm's entrance. Her blue eyes opened widely as she pulled herself straight before pushing the door to the backseat open and pressing her feet against the hard ground. Looking up, she had Ben standing by her the moment she stepped up, with his hand held out.

Melissa rolled her eyes but took the hand nonetheless, the mere movement made her head spin around and her body felt weak but before her legs could give under her weight, the young man was already passing an arm around her waist to help her walk. In truth, Melissa wasn't sure if she really hated the action, it felt nice.

As the two made their way towards the entrance, the group was crowding them in and asking questions. Lori and Rick reunited in a loving embrace while Maggie ran past her dad, leaving her family shocked by her sudden cold shoulder, and towards Glenn's awkward figure. Hershel looked back to her before he planted his eyes onto the group and then on his old friend.
