                       "HEY," MELISSA SPOKE as she strode into the room holding a chamomile tea mug she and Ben prepped, she handed the beverage to Lori and smiled softly, "How's he?"

Her eyes fell onto the figure of her nephew as he was being controlled by Hershel. In truth, he looked even more pale than before and his chest fell up and down too quietly for her liking. But she didn't let the turmoil of nerves and anxiety show, nor the fear crawling her skin. It was like having a dejavú, being with Lori in a situation like this. She had to be strong for them just like she knew how to.

"I don't think he's good." Lori spoke after a moment, she had little trust on the doctor after finding out he was actually a veterinarian and not a real surgical doctor. The only relief they had was that his son, Ben, was an almost nurse, he left school before finishing so he knew a thing or two but it wasn't his specialty really.

"He's gonna be," Melissa tried to comfort but knew she was failing terribly. Shane and Otis weren't back and Carl's condition was worsening by the minute.
