Chapter 5

|Regulus's pov|

I was reading when Sirius walks over to me

"Can I help you?" I ask looking up and Sirius sighs

"Look you can't get with y/n ok?" Sirius says and I look confused

"You broke up with her Sirius." I say and Sirius sighs

"Because if mom and dad find out about her they will kill her, I had to break up with her to protect her, you can't just get with her after I'm doing this to protect her." Sirius says and I smirk at him

"You think I haven't thought of ways to protect her? I've thought of many ways I could protect her if I date her, and one of them is gonna work." I say as I think of my plan and how it will work I know it will, me and her friend have talked about it. I used the war going on and her being a halfblood, and me being a scared friend

So we came up with a plan and soon I'm gonna ask y/n out and then tell her that plan, I won't let her die

"Regulus just don't ok? Let her graduate and go back to the muggle world where she's safe, it's better for all of us." Sirius says and I shake my head

"Sorry you thought breaking up with her was the only way to protect her, but unlike you, I'm actually smart and have thought of better ways to protect her." I say and Sirius just walks off and I go back to reading my book in peace

|A month later|

You were in Regulus's dorm as he was helping you study for this test you need to pass

He was sitting in front of you on his bed as he was holding his study cards as he reads them to you

But suddenly Regulus was kissing you and you were kissing him back

"This isn't how I planned to ask you out." Regulus says and you were shocked

"What?" You say amd Regulus smiles

"I said this ain't how I planned to ask you out, so you wanna go out? Like on a date? As my girlfriend? I know you dated my brother but well I'm better." Regulus says and you were shocked

"Sure." You say as your cheeks heat up and regulus thought that was adorable

|the next day|

Today Sirius walks up to you as you were sitting in the halls alone trying to study for a test you had today

"Y/n can I talk to you?" Sirius asks and you were confused

"Um why?" You say and Sirius sighs

"Look I'm sorry, I thought I was protecting you, my parents hate muggle-borns and half-bloods they'd kill you so I wanted to protect you from them so I broke up with you I'm sorry I shouldn't have done that, please take me back I'll do anything." Sirius says and you were shocked what? You didn't know what to say

"Um I don't know what to say." You say and Sirius nods

"Look I'm sorry please puppy take me back." Sirius says and then regulus walks over hearing it all

"Ah, Y/n I was looking for you." Regulus says and you didn't know what to say, you're dating Sirius's brother now and now Sirius wants you back

"Hey Reg." You say as you smile at him and regulus sits beside you

"Can we help you Sirius?" Regulus asks and Sirius sighs

"Yeah I wanna talk to y/n, can you leave Regulus?" Sirius says almost annoyed at his brothers presence

You know they aren't the closest but you do know Sirius cares so much for his younger brother

"I can be around my girlfriend if I wanna Sirius." Regulus says and Sirius was shocked

"What?" Sirius says looking at you

"Hey you randomly broke up with me without a reason, the only reason I came up with was you used me, so I moved on because I didn't wanna stay in love with someone who only used me, it's been a month and you didn't once talk to me." You say and Sirius looks at regulus like how long has this gone on?

"I only asked her out yesterday Sirius, I like her is that so bad?" Regulus says and Sirius was shocked and just walked off as Regulus starts helping you study "How dumb are you to get that answer wrong? It's so obvious?" Regulus says and you gasp

"Fuck off." You say and Regulus laughs

"Just try again with this question or your gonna fail." He says and wow thanks for the support 'Hey she'll never get the answers right if I'm not a little hard on her, she procrastinates too much so I will be hard on her to make sure she passes.'
