Chapter 21

Regulus and you were outside for a date, when he mentions a black dog following you both

"PADFOOT COME NOW." You yell and the dog runs over and licks your cheek happily, which you glare at him "You're really following me on a date? Don't you have better things to do?" You say as Regulus sits closer and starts to pet Sirius not knowing it's Sirius

"Awww you are cute I gotta say that. Me and my brother always wanted a dog, but our mother hates animal hair and she even killed the stray cat I brought home once." Regulus says and Sirius lays his head on Regulus's lap which made Regulus smile, you didn't know if you should say Padfoot is Sirius

Maybe Sirius decided he would be around Regulus only as a dog? If so you won't spill

"Wait is this dogs a stray? Oh no is it hungry?" Regulus asks you since you seemed to know the dog

"Uh I don't know." You say and Regulus nods

"Well here's some food buddy." Regulus says giving Sirius some of the food he brought

Sirius lays down and starts eating what Regulus gave him

Sirius tried to sit closer to you but you moved onto Regulus's lap and sat there

Not knowing what Sirius was trying to do

Regulus was confused but just held you

"I've always wanted a dog you know, they are so adorable." Regulus says and you look at him and smile

"How about we get a dog one day." You say and Regulus smiles

"Sure how about it, we can be dog parents, and then be actual parents." Regulus says as Sirius barks at you both

But then you notice

Peter, James and Remus all notice Sirius and they were whispering on what to do

"Right there's James, I bet Sirius is looking for padfoot since Sirius has been taking care of padfoot since he found him even named him and everything." You say and Regulus nods as he looked kinda shocked

"Oh I see." Regulus says as you motion for the other three marauders to come over and take Sirius

Which Sirius was growling not happy as James was trying to get him away from you and Regulus

"Padfoot come now." Remus says and Sirius just looks over and runs over to remus almost scared

Which Remus can get scary if you upset him

"Thanks for finding pads y/n see ya." Peter says and you nod as regulus kisses your cheek when he thought they weren't looking but they were

'I really would love to have a family with y/n, maybe after we graduate we can adopt some puppy's and raise those first, I can't wait for my future with her.'
