"I'm sorry my mom is so controlling like she even picked out your wedding dress," Regulus says and you nod as Regulus starts helping you with your hair making sure it was brushed perfectly, scared of his mom hurting you if it isn't
"It's fine, I know what I'm getting myself into and I accept it." You say smoothing the dress and Regulus kisses your cheek as he then walks downstairs holding his hand as Regulus looks down at your engagement ring you wear
"Well let's get going." Regulus says putting his arm out and you take it and walk downstairs with him

Daphne smiles as she walks over to Regulus, pretending you don't exist
"Regulus it's so nice you could make it." Daphne says and Regulus nods
"Oh thanks, me and y/n are glad we can make it." Regulus says and you smile at him as he smiles back at you then looks straight faced at Daphne "Now love we should go make conversation with people." Regulus says walking off with you as you nod and lean your head on Regulus's shoulder 'I don't wanna be here I could be at home with y/n and we could be cuddling. But no I have to be at this stupid sorry, I can't wait for my mom to die so I can actually do whatever I want.' Regulus thinks as he wanted to kiss you so badly
But he can't especially here, public affection at this kind of place is so frowned upon
Regulus then got pulled into conversation with Lucius Malfoy
"You know you haven't given him an answer yet, you need to before the time runs out." Regulus says and he sighs
"Look I'm planning a wedding, and then we plan to start having kids, I'm kinda busy with my own life and can't be in a war right now, especially with me so young and having to figure out how to manage all my family estates now." Regulus says and Lucius nods
"I'll tell him you need more time to think about it, but we're family Regulus we should be on the same side." Lucius says and Regulus nods as he smiles slightly and waves at narcissa
"Right sorry hi cousin how are you been so long sorry I couldn't make it to your wedding how was it?" Regulus says deciding to get all small talk out of the way
"I'm good and my wedding was good." Narcissa says as Regulus nods
"I wish I actually could have gone, just had business out of the country." Regulus says and he has a lot of business trips lately
'Regulus doesn't talk about his trips much, he just wants cuddles immediately when he comes home, and just wants to sleep with me in his arms. And whatever his trips are about he's so tired afterward.'
