Y/N POV

Fingers ran through my hair, waking me up and I noticed Lydia wasn't on my chest anymore. Blurry eyed, I looked around and seen Andy sitting in front of me, stiff as a board on his coffee table. Blood smeared by his temple and he held Lydia in his arms.

"Hey," a voice caught my attention

I snapped my head to the side and my eyes locked onto icey blue ones, piercing and cold.

"Miss me," Nick purred

I scrambled away from him, towards Andy only to have him snatch me back and pin me to the couch.

"DID YOU REALLY THINK I WOULDN'T FIND YOU," he bellowed in my face

Lydia started crying, her piercing cry loud enough to catch his attention. Andy held her a little tighter when Nick's gaze snapped her way.

"And my beautiful daughter," he smiled softly, his eyes still crazed

Looking him over as he stood, I noticed his lower back had a lump. He had a gun. I eyed Andy, watching as he shifted Lydia slightly in his arms and winced in pain.

"Let me hold her," Nick demanded

Andy hesitated slightly, before sighing and handing her over. Nick cooed over her, rubbing her cheek with his fingers.

"What's her name," he looked to me

"Lydia," I whispered

"You said it was a boy," his tone was angry

"I lied," he nodded

He walked closer to me, grabbing my arm and pulling me to the door. Andy jumped up after us and ran to me, trying to grab us, but stopped when Nick abruptly let go of me and pulled the gun out, pointing it at him. He balanced Lydia in his right arm like a pro and and shot Andy in the leg.

"Don't follow," Nick said over his groans of pain

He put the gun away and pulled me outside, pushing me into the side of my car and demanding I put Lydia in her car seat.

"You're in for it now,"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Trees flew by us, green blurs as Nick sang along to the radio. Lydia was asleep and I had my head rested against her car seat.
"Did you miss me at all," he asked suddenly
My silence was his answer, because he sighed and went back to singing. The interstate was quiet, all except a few cars passing us here and there, but I made eye contact with one particular person. Andy. He was far enough on Nick's side that he couldn't tell. Andy made a gesture for me to hold onto Lydia. I did and braced my self, watching as he slowed slightly, going behind us and ramming my back panel.
Nick cussed and tried to right us but over corrected and spun us into a ditch. Flashing lights followed when we came to a stop.
"NICK GOODE, STEP OUT OF THE CAR," a voice echoed around us
I was breathing heavily, watching as he whipped out of the car and held up his badge.
"I'M A SHERIFF," he screamed back at them
I crawled out of the passenger side and around the bumper, listening as he tried to defend his kidnapping. Saying how I kidnapped out kid and fled from him. You can't kidnap an unborn child was the response he got.
Andy ran into the ditch, passed Nick who tried to stop him and ran to Lydia, checking her before looking for me. He sighed in relief, but quickly fell to cover Lydia and I ducked and covered when gun shots went off.
When they stopped I peaked around and seen Nick on the ground, his back heaving up and down a few times before it stopped. I hesitantly stood up and held up my hands.
"He drew his gun," am officer said
Andy pulled Lydia out and into his arms, cradling her in his left and pulled me into his right.
"You're safe,"
I sat in the back of an ambulance, questioned by the cops and watched as Nick was put in a body bag. Despite bruising and some bumps, I was given a clean bill of health with Andy by my side.
"Forget the date," he said suddenly, cops lights flashing on his face
It hurt but I understood. I had never told him the full story, never told him where or what I came from. It hurt, but I'd be ok.
"I think I'm gonna marry you," he smirked to me instead
A breath of relief left me and I smacked his arm, causing him to laugh and kiss me, making Lydia fuss in his arms when she didn't have his attention.
"I'm sorry lydibug," he cooed to her
"Daddy's girl," I blurted before I could stop it
We stared at each wide eyed, his eyes glistening and he smiled.
"Daddy's girl," he agreed
14 years later
Andy and I got married before we even had our first date and we settled in Seattle, away from bad memories and bad dreams. We eventually had 3 more kids, 2 boys and a girl, making it even in the house.
Lydia was growing before our eyes, her eyes being more green than blue which I was forever grateful for.
I happen to walk passed her as she sat at the dining table, a book in front of her, open and watched her eyes widen.
"Who's Nick Goode," she asked suddenly
I whipped around and looked at her, my shoulders tense and I eyed her.
"Why," she looked at me confused
"It said in the start of this book that it belonged to the Goode's and the last name written in it, was Nick Goode," she explained
"Where did you get it," my voice was shaky
"I found it on my bed," I walked to her and looked over her shoulder
"I found it on my bed," I walked to her and looked over her shoulder
