Lucy's POV
I follow Peter to a nice room it it quite big and very plain but it looks quite nice, Peter then gives me a phone! He says "here you might need this I'll give you some headphones and earphones too let me just go and get them"
"really" I respond surprised I am being given something.
"yes tony has loads spare and gave me two so I'll give you my spare one"
"ok" I reply excitedly. Peter leaves to go and get the earphones and headphones so I start to set up the phone as it hasn't been taken out of the box, I remember how to do it as I did it when I was younger lots with Peter. I finish and download and login to my Spotify account, I am very fast with tech stuff like this. Peter comes back in the room and hands me the headphones
"you can customise your room to how you want" Peter tells me
"Ok great!" I say super exited i now get my own life and freedom
"I'll be back in a bit do what you want" Peter says before leaving the room. I decide to fiddle on my phone and watch something because I have missed out on three years worth of new films videos and tv programmes. I might listen to some music too.
Peters POV
I walk downstairs and all the avengers are staring at me "what!" I say
Tony says obviously not expecting me to have a sibling "you could have maybe told us about your SISTER!"
"Sorry" i say before lowering my head so I am looking at the floor, "I was too sad to talk about it"
Wanda understandingly says "I know I get it I lost my twin brother, siblings are very hard people to lose"
"Especially when they are your only friend and the person who will literally take a beating from bullies to save your butt" I respond with
"She really did that" Nat says surprised
"Yes even when I was 10 she was 8 and the bullies were 12" I say "and she did much more"
"Like what" tony noisily says
"If you must know she helped me study, stood up for me, comforted me, supported me and I should have been there for her but I wasn't" I say sadly
"Peter you did your best, she seems like a great person and I would love to get to know her" Wanda says comfortingly
"As would I" Nat says
"We can get her later I have given her my spare phone and my headphones and I knew she listened to music lots to calm her and she also sings to calm her too"
"Ok" tony says "is she any good"
"I think so, I haven't heard her sing in three years so I don't know" i say
"Ok" tony says
Wanda's POV
I feel really sorry for Peter as he has obviously really missed his sister as I do Pietro at least I knew he was dead but Peter didn't know if his sister was alive or dead, that must be a horrible feeling. I think someone is playing music as I definitely can hear something "can you hear that I say" while looking around the room trying to figure out where the noise is coming from
"Yes what is it" tony says while nodding
Peter smiles and says proudly "that's my sister"
We all stay silent and hear:
Peter's POV
"Wow she really is a good singer" tony says while grinning "i could use her at my parties"
"Yeah her voice is still as beautiful as it was three years ago probably better" I say "and no way are you using her at parties, she is very shy and doesn't really like people much, when we were at school she only spoke to me" tony just nod sympathetically
"Peter our dinner is ready if you want to go and get Lucy" Steve says
"Ok I'll get her now" I respond with
I make my way up the stairs. Lucy room is next to Wanda's and just down the hall from mine, I arrive at her room and knock on the door "come in" I hear her shout
"Hello it's just me" I say as I make my way into her room smiling like and an idiot
"You all heard me sing didn't you" she says before going slightly red from embarrassment
"Maybe" I respond with
"Uhhhhhhhhhhh you are so annoying" Lucy says slightly irritated
"Your voice is just so good" i say "oh and by the way dinner is ready"
"Ok lead the way" Lucy's exclaims
Lucy's POV
I see a table with loads of food on it, at hydra they didn't feed us much so I am very surprised at the amount of food on my plate and know I won't eat it all as I haven't had a big meal in three years and my stomach won't be use to it.
More of the avengers come to the table and some of them I don't recognise "who are they" I whisper to Peter "I don't really know many names"
"Good point" peter whispers back "let's do some instructions" peter shouts "everyone say their name" he exclaims
Everyone says their name: "I'm Natasha but most people call me Nat, I'm Steve, I'm Bucky, I'm Wanda, I'm Tony, I'm Bruce"
"Ok thank you" i say
I finish just under half my food and says thank you and go to my room. I feel so full after so little portion sizes in hydra. I have met so many people and they seem nice but I am so nervous and really scared, I just want to hide. I feel safer in my wolf form so as soon as I get to my room I shape shift and curl up into a ball in the corner of my room scared.
Wanda's POV
"Should I go up and check if she is ok" i say while standing up "she didn't really eat much"
"That sounds like a good idea" I'll stay here Peter responds
I walk up to where Peter said Lucy's room is, which i found out is next to mine, as I am walking I think about what might have happened to Lucy at hydra, I know they won't have fed her much at all from my experiences but I was a volunteer so they did feed me and Pietro a decent amount. I bet they treated Lucy horribly. I knock on the door as I have arrived at Lucy's room and hear nothing so I say "it's me Wanda I'm coming in"
All I see is a wolf curled up int he corner of the room, I remember Lucy said one of her powers was turning into a wolf so I decide to approach it and hope it's her.
Lucy's POV
I see Wanda walk into the room, she comes up to me and says "it's ok your safe I know what hydra is like, I was there to for some time, it isn't the nicest of places is it" she say
I transform back to human and say "No it isn't"
"Can I give you a hug" Wanda says, I see that she knows I might be sensitive so it is nice to know she cared.
"Yes" i say still crying a bit
She wraps her arms around me and hugs me, I try to stay strong but I just can't I miss being hugged and being cared for, I just cry into her arms
"Are you alright" she says
"Yes" I say "I just can't remember that last time I had a proper hug"
