smile like a cup full of sunshine
and, god
how do i tell you i love you?
no,
not that hedonistic lust sort of craving
but a soul deep understanding
that we were always meant to be
in every sense of the meaning
except for the physical way
can't you feel?
that magnetic pull,
we're two halves of a whole
and i'm telling you,
my world only rotates for you
only because of you
we're so much more than finishing each other thoughts
such trivialities are beneath us
when we are all but one
how do i tell you my soul sings for you?
eons of trust embedded in your eyes
and all i can think of is
i've been waiting for you
( the world is ours )
