Espresso x NB!Reader

(TW: mention of sleep loss, starvation)

*You had been working so hard recently...non-stop....working, and working. You had to fill out multiple piles of paper before morning.... You were working so much, you didn't have time to even eat. Your legs hurt from running around the house-searching for papers, and documents. Time passed quickly, and you hear a knock on the door.*

' ' Im busy...' ' you say, trying not to yell, since it was REALLY late, and you didn't want to wake the cookie next-door.

' ' Y/N, its 1:09 in the morning.' ' You hear a voice say from the other side of the door, you almost instantly reconize the voice to belong to Espresso, a good friend of yours, you had also been roomates with him at the time. He had left on a "buisness trip" a month ago, and you were so caught up in your work that you forgot he was coming back that day.*

' ' Y/N, can I come in?..' ' he asked through the door

' '....sure..' '

Espresso POV

*When I entered Y/N's room, I wasn't quite suprised to see them at the desk in the corner of their room, with a few papers on their desk.*

' 'Y/N?' '

' 'Yes?' '

' 'How long have you been working without sleep?..' '

Y/N POV

' 'I only started like...yesterday?' '

*Espresso let out a sigh and walked up to you, he looked you directly in the eyes.*

' 'Liar' '

' 'I can tell by how dark your eyebags are, you haven't slept ever since I left. Correct?..' '

' 'Fine~ you caught me' ' *you fake pout*

*Espresso sighs once more and grabs you hand, pulling you out of your seat. But before you can even say anything, you begin to feel light-headed...it was the hunger. You hadn't eaten in a long time, everything becomes a blur, and you fall to the floor, Espresso lets go of your hand and rushes to try to help you...the last thing you saw, was Espresso's worried face.*

Time Skip

*You started to feel your body again after an hour had passed, you finally managed to open your eyes. Your back was in slight pain from basicly landing on it when you fell, but you were able to sit up*

' 'Y-Y/N?' ' You hear a worried voice from the door, so, you turn your attention to where the sound was coming from. And you saw Espresso at your door, he was slightly crying, he ran over to you and pulled you into a tight hug.*

' 'Y/N! Please do not scare me like that! I am glad you are okay, but I know what caused you to faint... After you fainted and I put you in bed, I went downstairs to get some food from the kitchen. It was empty... just like it was when I left. And when I went to the store to get some, the clerk said they hadn't seen you in a good while. So, I will ask one question dear, Have you been eating...?''

*You suddenly started crying into his shoulder, sobbing as much as you could, just to get it out*

' 'woah! Hey, calm down....' ' He had his answer.

*after a few minutes you stopped crying. (took way over "a few minutes")*

' 'Y/N dear, I will go get you something to eat, ill be back in a minute.' ' He started for the door, but you stopped him*

' 'Espresso?..' '

' 'Yes Dear?' '

' 'When you get back with the food, can we cuddle?....' '

*There was silence for a minute* (like 60 seconds)

' '........Would it...make you ..happy?' '

' 'Yeah.....' '

*Espresso let out a slightly flustered sigh*

' 'Okay Y/N, how about this-I go get you food, you eat it, then we cuddle?..' '

' 'Yeah thats fine..' '

*Espresso walked out of the room*

(after you ate)

' 'Espresso?' '

' 'Yes?' '

' 'Im done with my food.' '

' 'Alright, lemme just put the dishes away.' '

Time skip

*Espresso got back to the room*

' 'Can we cuddle nowwww~' '

' 'Okay, Okay.' '

*Espresso got into the bed and you pull him into a slight hug.*
*Espresso is blushing like hell*

*but after a few minutes, he starts cuddling you back.*

*And you both end up falling asleep*
