Her Ordeals

Chapter 20

The next day, I went to the HQ to meet Shikaku. 

"Are you really sure about this, Hanare?" He asked lazily but serious. "You know... this will cause trouble between you and Kakashi." 

Of course, it will. I asked Shikaku to give me the mission which consist of leaving the fire country to investigate the movements of Akatsuki. Now that they're showing themselves, like last time, Kisame and that Deidara guy stepped their foots in our land, trying to abduct Naruto-kun, I took my luck to use this as an excuse to keep an eye to them. Of course, with the help of Jiraiya-sama's spy network as well as Lord Hagoromo's implanted memories. 

Kakashi's out for 2 days because of their mission and I can't just sit back and wait. I can use this as an advantage to move forward while Kakashi's still away. He will definitely not approve this if he's here but now, he isn't. 

"I'm still a ninja of the leaf, Shikaku-sama. Besides, I have a permission from Lady Tsunade." 

Yes, Tsunade-sama took over the office - 3 days after the invasion. If I'm not mistaken, Team 7 accompanied Jiraiya-sama to find her as soon as the council ordered Jiraiya-sama to become one. Well, that's expected since we couldn't just force Jiraiya-sama to take over the office since it's out of his character. 

He's on his research - and my boyfriend is one of his Goddamn fans. 

"If Lady Tsunade approves this, then why're you still asking for my permission?" He asked with a smirk. He already knew the purpose of coming here yet, he's still asking. 

What a troublesome man for a Clan Head. 

I caressed my temples to ease up my frustration. This old man is enjoying the sight of me getting frustrated! He knew my swings yet! "Between Kakashi and I, you're fond with him rather than me. If he happens to ask you about my whereabouts, you wouldn't think twice, right? You will tell him everything." I spat with an eyeroll. 

And there I heard him burst in laughter when I hit the bullseye. 

Like him, I have this sharp mind but not as sharp as Shikamaru. That guy's a genius of all genius. 

"Kid, your boyfriend will throw the world upside down if he happens to find out that we approved you, leaving the village even just for a moment. You should understand that you're almost 4 months preggy! Even Yohisno's worried about you, being this troublesome." Then I saw him scratched his head to ease up his mind. But he knew that my decision's now complete. 

He sighed. "Alright, I won't tell a single soul, even Kakashi. But if something happens to you in this 2-day mission of yours, it's up to you." Wow, even this Jonin commander's afraid of Kakashi's wrath. 

Well, I can't blame him. Kakashi's fatherly hormones are terrifying at all. 

But this is important. I had to find Zetsu's whereabouts before Naruto and Jiraiya-sama's departure for their 3 years training. I heard that Sakura will be working under Tsunade-sama while Sasuke will be under Shisui and Itachi's care for his Sharingan development.  

Aside from me, Zetsu is the only one who can summon Kaguya Otsutsuki. Since Lord Hagoromo's chakra's inside me, it merged with my chakra and the fact that I'm an Otsutsuki too makes me able to summon her. 

Zetsu's the only one I need to kill, I guess. Besides, today's ninjas and their capacity to defeat Uchiha Madara and Uchiha Obito increased. 

Akatsuki - I know that Uzumaki Nagato's the one who's acting leader in this timeline. According to Lord Hagoromo's memories, he was just a pawn to Zetsu like the two Uchiha's. But it'll never be a valid reason for them to kill and raise havoc upon the world. That said, I'll be forced to annihilate them.
