Rain was pouring down into small streams that connected to rivers, animals and the living creatures of Yellowstone enjoyed some nice light rain.

It was the beginning of summer, and it was that time of year where the packs find a summertime home for them and their pups. Bee and Dragonfly were around 2 months old, and their puppy coats were coming out even more over time, Bee was showing blacker in her coat and had a little white spot on her chest. Her sister Dragonfly's coat was graying out into a mixture of dark gray and white, they were both beautiful.

The smell of the rain ran through my nose, I looked over to my pup Star, she is a one-year-old she-wolf who is now mute, (or non-speaking). She has a black coat, yellow/green eyes, and a brown patch on her behind. Star was going to leave the pack the year after this, Rosalind and her siblings had just left the pack to start their own. Thunder, Denali, Cirrus, and Cloud were eating what was left of the mule deer carcass we had just taken down. Thunder doesn't hunt like the rest of us, Spirit wolves have their own job in a pack and hunters have their own job too, which is hunting.

Thunder had just finished eating and trotted over to her favorite spot, under a willow tree. It was a willow tree, beautiful flowers blooming, long green leaves, and much shade to give. Thunder calls it her spirit wolf spot, she goes there whenever she feels like getting away, no other wolves go near there because once a spirit wolf says no, they mean what they say. Thunder's adult coat had come in, she has a brown coat and a light brown pelt with dark brown dapples, she reminds me of her great-grandmother Ash.

Denali, Denali has really turned into a strong young she-wolf. She has a beautiful golden coat and faint light brown stripes just like her father. Her personality hasn't really changed and is the same from when she was a pup, bossy, in charge, and brave, she also still loves rabbits.

Cloud has the greyest coat; he has a white coat like me with small black spots on his pelt, so it's like a mixture of my coat and Asterope's

Cloud has the greyest coat; he has a white coat like me with small black spots on his pelt, so it's like a mixture of my coat and Asterope's. Cloud has changed a bit by moving down into the Omega ranking of the pack, he doesn't engage much in howling and other pack activities. I'm just glad he still loves beavers.
