Draco Malfoy

Scorpius sprinted out of the room after Ashley announced she was pregnant. She was going to run after him but i offered instead. I found he sat on the stairs outside playing with his fingers. "Hey, everything alright? Why'd you run off son?" I asked sitting next to him. He turned his head away from me and stayed silent. "Hey come on you can tell me"

"Well i dont want to be left out. The baby going to take all the attention of you and mom and then you wont love me anymore and forget that i ever existed like you did once" He explain tear falling from his eyes. 

"Look Scorp your mother will never forget you or not love you anymore. I never knew you existed because i hurt you mother the day she was going to tell me about you" I explained looking away.

"Why would you do that?" He asked.

"Well you grandfather never like your mother, so he made me marry someone else and get rid of Ashley otherwise he'd hurt her. But he died before the wedding so I stopped and searched for you mother for years until I stormed your uncles bar and found her." I explained again.

"So that's why you were never around?" 

"Yes" I breathed out. "Come one lets go find your mother and please dont bring up this conversation"

"I wont. I promise dad" We walked back in and found her in the kitchen cooking. Scorp apologized and we sat down and had dinner.

Six 1/2 months later

Two 1/2 months ago me and Ashley found out that we were having 2 baby girls, when we announced it to everyone they were thrilled and Scorpius took it very well actually. I was sat in my office with Mattheo, Fred, George and Blaise. Since Ashley was the Gryffindore leader still we agreed to make a truce and to be honest the twins aren't that bad to hang about with. "Guys can i ask you all a question?" I said potting a red on the pool table.

"Yeah sure" The twins answered in sync.

"When's the best time to propose to Ashley?" Everyone stopped what they we doing and looked at me. "What?"

"Nothing we just thought that you had already done it" They all said.

"No..." 

"Well her birthday's coming up so it would be an amazing present for her." Blaise suggested.

"It would wouldn't it" I said potting another red.

Her birthday came around quicker than i imagined and was getting dressed in my room. I had organised her a party to make my proposal a spectral. "Draco? Are you almost ready? Everyone's waiting for us" Ashley spoke through the door. I quickly pocketed the ring and opened the door.

"Happy birthday love. Lets go" I kissed her before leading her downstairs. Everyone started singing happy birthday as we did and once she reached the bottom she began opening all her presents. By the end, she did look very happy with me and i knew why. I signalled for the band to cut the music and gather everyones attention. "Now it's time for my present. Don't worry i didnt forget, Darling." She smiled at me but it was wiped away when i got on one knee. Everyone was stunned.

"Ashley, you are in of the most beautiful girls on this planet but unfortunately you will be moved to 3rd when our 2 daughters come around" She gasped in disbelieve when i spoke. "I made a stupid mistake once. A one i will make up for for the rest of my life. Ashley Lily Potter will you marry me?"

"Tear fell down her face and she nodded frantically"Yes, Yes!!!" I ran up to her and pulled her into a kiss as I placed the ring on her finger. "I love you so much" She whispered

"I love you a lot more"
