( season 1, episode 4 : stick to the team )

" Fuck, oh fuck! Shit! This is bullshit!" Jiwon cried as Saebyeok pulled her through groups of people slaughtering each other, utterly terrified.

" Shut up!" Her sister called back, glancing around frantically for player 456. A pull on the back of Jiwon's jacket made her shriek, and she turned to see Ji-yeong and player 009 behind her.

" Fuck you! Don't do that!" She heaved out a breath as she watched a woman run to the double doors, slamming on them with bloody hands. Her head was soon bashed in.

" Just keep going!" Player 009 shouted, holding onto Ji-yeongs jacket as they weaved through the people, narrowly missing hits.

Saebyeok stopped in front of player 456, causing Jiwon to bump into her back. Heaving, she turned to check if the girls behind her were okay.

They were, but that wasn't what she was looking at. Deok-su stood a few feet away from them, covered in blood, Saebyeoks knife in his grip.

Jiwon shoved the two girls aside as he lunged for her, slamming her head into a bed frame. She screeched, pain blossoming in the back of her skull.

She glanced through the awful flashing lights to see part of his broken bottle on the floor, and in a flash, she'd picked it up and smashed it over his head.

Another player, number 218, pulled him away and took Jiwon's forearm, pulling her to stand behind the men. Ji-yeong and player 009 were nowhere to be seen.

" Hey, Ssangmun-dong. What are you doing?" The man with the snake tattoo cackled. Him and his men looked like total psychopaths.

Jiwon could see player 212 behind them, looking timid and afraid. If it weren't for the circumstances, Jiwon would've laughed. Guess her tough girl persona is just a front.

" We're just helping cull the herd." Jiwon blocked out any noise after that. Familiar memories had started flooding into her brain, and it was hard to ignore.

" Hey, brain box." Jiwon glanced up from her desk to see familiar black hair and brown eyes. She rolled her eyes playfully.

Jisoo sat down at her desk beside her, pulling the pen out of her hand and replacing it with her own.

Jiwon used to be a very different person. She grew up shy and quiet, traits she'd gotten from her sister, but she could stand up for herself when needed.

This personality had caught the attention of a certain student called Jisoo. Jisoo wasn't great at maths, so their friendship started with Jiwon tutoring Jisoo.

As you've probably guessed, things progressed more, and now they were very much into each other.

" Put your pen down for once and actually engage in a conversation." Jisoo teased her, and she sighed, closing her sketchbook and turning to her girlfriend.

Jisoo pulled Jiwon out of her seat and they strolled out of the classroom. It was early morning, so barely anyone was around.

" Jisoo, what are you doing?" Jiwon laughed as Jisoo trotted along in front of her, tugging on her hand.

Jisoo suddenly made a detour, into an empty classroom. Jiwon couldn't even ask what she was going before she was eagerly pulled into a kiss.
