Saebyeok and Jiwon had been sent to bed not long after their talk, as it was Gihun and the old mans turn to watch.
Again, Jiwon's sleep was full of bad dreams, but not nightmares. Dreams of what could have been with her and Jisoo. Maybe she would have been better off if she'd stayed with her.
Alarms suddenly started blaring, interrupting her dream. Her eyes shot open, and it took her a minute to realise where she was. It felt like she was back home.
The alarms brought back a lot of bad memories, but she pushed them aside as she stood up, confused.
The guards guided them all to the centre of the room, where they were put into lines and scanned by the guards.
Jiwon put her hands in her pockets, uncomfortable, as the guard checking her line stared for a bit too long.
" Go away." She muttered, and he listened.
Glancing behind her, she saw the old man looking rather sheepish and upset. When she turned, she saw that the poor man had spiked himself.
Her face turned soft, and she thought for a moment before unzipping her jacket, pulling it off and kneeling to tie it around his waist, covering the stain on his pants.
" Oh..." The old man was surprised as she stood up.
" Are you feeling ok?" She asked, bending her knees a little to be at his height.
" Oh, yes dear, I feel alright. Thank you." He thanked her sincerely, and Jiwon only nodded, turning back to the front.
'The blue Danube' started playing through the speakers, and Jiwon sighed heavily.
" Attention. The fourth game is about to begin. Please follow the staff's instructions and swiftly make your way towards the game hall. Let me repeat the instructions..."
