I fluttered my eyes open, squinting at the light illuminating the room. Once they adjusted I looked around noticing I was in Skylar's bed and sat up grabbing my pounding head. I felt nauseous but shrugged it off. It could have been from the dizziness I felt earlier. Skylar walked into the room with a sweet smile. "Oh thank the first spinjitzu master your ok! You had me worried." She exclaimed as she walked over. I blinked trying to remember what happened last night. "I- what happened last night?" I questioned as I looked over at her. She gave a soft smile. "You said you were getting dizzy while we were watching a movie. Then you just... passed out. So I brought you up here to get some rest while I slept downstairs." She muttered. I looked at the time. It was late the next day. "I was out for hours!" I exclaimed. She nodded. "I can call the others and let them know you spending another night if we must." She said kindly. "No, no, no. It's fine love. I think I'm just going to head back. I don't want to make them worry." I stated. She looked a bit upset. "Are you sure you can drive home at this time?" She asked. I nodded. "I'm sorry, I wish I could stay another night to make up for last night but I really do need to get home. A ninja doesn't get much free time." I stated as I jumped off the bed, almost falling over but catching myself before she could notice. She walked over to look me in the eye. "Fine. But please message me whenever you can." She stated. Her voice laced with a sharp, aggressive yet hurt tone. I gave her another guilty look before looking back down at my shoes and putting them on. "I know I can't spend a ton of time with you Skylar... and I wish I could. I'm sorry you have to deal with me and my job." I started about to continue but before I could she spoke up again. "You should be. All you care about is your job and yourself. When are you going to start thinking about others for once." She scalded me. I looked up at her shocked, yet since I still felt faint, tired, nauseous and my head was pounding. I didn't fully understand what she was saying. "What do you mean?" I asked confused. She turned and glared at me. "Oh don't you start with that Kai! You know what I mean, let's be honest you probably only asked me out because you can't get anyone else better to go out with you because that's how pathetic you are!" She screamed at me. I winced at the loud noise, yet I also winced at the words she said. "Skylar, you don't mean that... your just... upset because I messed everything up last night and I'm sorry ok. I didn't know I was going to pass out like that and I don't know what caused it. I promise we can hang out soon, ill make sure of it." I muttered as I grabbed onto her shoulders and made her look at me. Her glare still scorched my soul. "Let me see if I can put this in simple terms that even you can understand." She started. I let go of her shoulders afraid of what she would do if I continued to hold onto her. I know she has a temper like mine used to be. So when she's mad it's best to let her speak. "You always put yourself before everyone else, no wonder everyone says your a jerk." She continued but her voice and eyes softened. "But because I know you can be better and do better with a little guidance. I believe this relationship can work. You just have some things that you need to work on and ill be here to guide you through it." She stated with a sweet smile. I gave her a shy smile. She walked up to me giving me a small kiss. "Just don't screw up again sweety and we will be fine." She said with a smile before helping me grab my stuff. "Now you probably should go. We don't want the others to worry about you do we?" She continued. I stared at her in slight shock and grabbed my begs from her nodding silently. She rushed me out the door and before closing it spoke one more time. "Love you, sweetie." She sang before shutting the door. I stood there in silence for a moment thinking about what just happened. I looked down at my car keys. Driving home in silence, fighting my sight and head as it pounded and nausea has started causing my vision to go blurry. Luckily I made it home with no injuries. Climbing up the long staircase, thinking. I made my way to the top and opened the door silently. However, that did nothing as I was bombarded by the others as soon as I walked into the monastery. "Kai your back!" Jay exclaimed as he hugged me. I pushed him off, wobbling a little. After I did so I ended up making eye contact with Zane and cole who both had worried expressions on their faces. I looked back at Jay realizing what I had just done. "Oh... sorry Jay. I'm not thinking straight that's all. I got a migraine..." I mumbled. Jay looked shocked for a moment. I looked at the others who had the same expressions. "What?" I asked, my mind still being foggy. "You... apologized to me?" Jay questioned. Lloyd then spoke up sternly. "Alright what's wrong?"

Another chapter is done. Also, I would like to apologize for how fast this story is, but I kinda am just writing this one for fun so it's going to be more fast-paced because it's not as calculated as my slower-paced books are.

Also, I'm sorry I just find it funny the big alert for all the ninja that something was wrong was he apologized to Jay.

HE APOLOGIZED TO JAY
