We all sat in silence, not knowing how to answer that question. Cole slowly looked at me. "Kai... we have to inspect those wounds..." he mumbled. His eyes slightly arched and a frown appeared. I looked at Morro who had a similar facial expression. I looked down at the floor. I can't tell them no, but I don't want them to see the cuts she just added on, it will be obvious, but if I say no. It will worry them more, however, if I say yes, just the feeling of my skin being exposed could cause me to faint, but If I refuse they will know I'm not as ok as I'm letting off to be. "Kai?" I snapped my head back up, taking a shaky breath. "F-fine..." I mumbled instinctively. "Alright, just... let me know if you're getting uncomfortable," Morro mumbled. I slightly nodded, closing my eyes. I took a couple of deep breaths before I took my shirt off. I winced as I heard two slight gasps, instinctively curling in on myself a little. The cold air touching my skin was unnerving. I could feel the uneasiness in the room after that. Nobody seemed to know what to say. I flinched when Morro placed one of his cold hands on my arm. He snatched it back, giving Cole a worried glance before peeking back at me. "I need to clean these up." He mumbled, I'm not fully sure if he was saying that to me or himself because as soon as he mumbled that, he started digging around in drawers. I blanked out for a moment as I thought about what happened with Skylar earlier.
"Now remember darling, no one can know about this; or else there will be major consequences." The sweet yet intimidating voice of the devil herself spoke to me as if I was some kind of pet. "Oh and here." She pulled out a bag filled with a white powder-like substance, forcefully handing it to me. "Take this. It is a pain reliever I made, there are only two side effects. 1, It does not last long yet it's incredibly strong and 2, once it wears off, you will become incredibly ill. You will be so sick you won't be able to keep water down." She finished with a grin. I winced as I looked at it. She glared at me. "Take it. Or else ill force you." I looked at her and then the bag. Too scared to touch it. She growled, grabbing a second bag. "Fine. Make this harder on yourself. If you won't take one bag. I'll force you to take two."
I shivered at that memory. She had forced two bags, full to the brin of that stuff in my mouth. The fear I had in those moments is indescribable. She said that stuff didn't have a good effect time. Meaning it could wear off soon, I already feel the physical pain slowly coming back to me, meaning the sick feeling won't be too far behind. Oh no, what will I do? "Kai..." I calm, small voice spoke, snapping me out of my thoughts. My vision was blurry so I blinked a couple of times to adjust. Morro stood in front of me, clenching one of my shoulders with one hand in front of my face as if he was in the middle of snapping his fingers. "H-hey bud. You zoned out on us... we've been trying to snap you out of it for twenty minutes now..." he continued to speak calmly, giving me a small sense of comfort. Cole stood behind him, giving me a worried glare. "Yeah- I, I blacked out... sorry," I mumbled. Morro nodded slightly, letting go of me. "Go ahead, put your shirt back on..." he reassured me. I looked down at my arms and chest, noticing all the bandages that littered them now before sliding my shirt back on. "You should go to bed. It's been a long, hard day. You need rest." Cole mumbled, motioning to me. I looked down a bit ashamed of how this day had been. I nodded in response, getting up before making my way to my room, where I passed out as soon as I hit the pillow.
I fluttered my eyes open, instantly becoming aware of the massive headache I had. I groaned as I opened my eyes. It didn't take me long to notice the fimilure nauseous, dizzy, Fuzzy sick feeling I've had felt too much in the past
two days. I sat up in an attempt to go get some water to help my dry throat but I only fell back down onto my bed, the dizzyness getting worse. I moaned as the pounding in my head got worse as if it was trying to remind me it was there. I remained there, taking a few deep breaths before attempting to get up again. The room felt hot, my throat was dry and I felt the need to get water to help with those problems. I managed to walk halfway across my room before the dizziness hit again. Worse than before, I couldn't get back to the bed, there was no way I could stand for that long let alone walk. Unable to do anything I let myself collapse onto the floor. The floor was surprisingly cold. It felt nice on my hot skin and helped me gain some relief, however, that didn't last long. I felt awful. I couldn't walk, my stomach was practically killing me, my throat was dry, I felt extremely hot, my skin looked almost white and that stupid pounding headache keeps returning. My vision was blurry, I was dizzy as fuck and I couldn't think straight. I heard footsteps close by, however, they were cloudy and unclear.I updated! Yay! Surprise everyone. This was meant for yesterday but it took a little longer than anticipated.
