chapter 30:the first

"Byun Jae are you ok?" minji asked her when semi had gone to the kitchen

she snapped her head in her direction "I am pretty much ok, why what's wrong?"

"nothing it's just that you look a bit too sad" minji shifted on her bed

"I'm fine, besides let's go to the steak place I feel like having steak," Jae said and plopped beside minji on her bed

"KIM SEMI ARE YOU DIGGING UP WATER?! WHAT'S TAKING SO LONG" minji yelled after 10 minutes of semi's absence

the door squeaked open and semi came in with a suspicious smile

"The fuck did you break in my house"

"I just went to see your brothers room it still smells of him you know" semi came and handed minji the water bottle and plopped beside Jae

"oh god what do you even like about my brother he is literally a piece of nonsense, I don't know how did he get into a university that isn't in our country" she sipped on her water and spoke

semi laughed and spoke "he is just him you know he is the best he is so good to us"

"that's because I threaten him, or else I would expose his incredible works to our parents"

"but he still smiles at us and he makes ramyeon for us I mean that's so yummy" semi ended and Jae butted in "well yea I must say his ramyeon is yum, he makes it spicy I love that" she looked at semi and gave her a high five

scrunching her face in disgust minji said "if you two want to talk about my brother go talk about him in his room not here, please I don't want the lee heeseung-ness in my room, shoo get out"

semi was quick to respond to it "ok"

"you leave my room and you would never come back-"

"you kids go fight in the kindergarten not here, lemme watch the movie in peace" Jae stopped their argument and started the movie

the three got up from the bed and stretched out and yawned

"aah the movie was good" minji walked to the bathroom and washed her face

semi flipped her hair and spoke "well you know the movies I pick never disappoint"

"although you are a disappointment," Jae remarked and shrugged her shoulders leaving minji wheezing in the bathroom

"ok I think it's time lets go eat it's 7:30 let's finish dinner early Jae has to go swimming" semi wrapped her hand around Jae's shoulder and spoke

"yea lets go"

the three booked a cab to the restaurant as Jae and minji weren't too confident to drive yet

"let's order some steak I'm hungry," Jae said looking at the menu card and then at the two in front of her

"yea or else she might just eat us up" semi laughed after stating that to which Jae replied "shut up I'm sleepy" annoyed Jae replied and placed her head on the table

minji ordered food for them and while they were waiting she started chatting with semi

"oh semi you know my brother might come at the year-end or something"

semi squealed and widened her eyes "WHAT?! OH MY GOD YES"

minji laughed and spoke "you know you can just take his number from me and talk to him or when I video call him you can just walk in and be like who is that and I'll say oh that's semi do you remember who is she" minji laughed thinking about it
