it had been 6 days since father byun and jake had become somewhat friends, well since her dad was a surgeon he couldn't really talk to anyone but as one of the parents had to help her out to her room jake always met one of them and if her father was in charge to take care of her that day

the jokes and laughter of the two males wouldn't stop, it was as if he thought he got a new son or something 

25th October, 10 days to the game and the team was preparing very hard jake was almost surprised when the entire team came at 4:30 instead of 5 in the morning for training 

since the locker room brawl of jake and Jae, they were well aware of the situation going on in the season and wanted to give their best so that their coach wouldn't die of high blood pressure on the field 

"help me out minji" Jae requested as she wanted to use the restroom in the middle of a class and unable to walk without support was impossible since mother byun had requested the teacher to let one of her friends follow her everywhere she went and gladly the professor let her go to the restroom 

minji and Jae walked to the restroom that was a bit more ahead that their class and of course the two adults couldn't hold back on the news they knew 

"dad and jake are in love, I swear it feels dad will disown me to his family and then adopt him from uncle sim, I am not lying he suddenly adores him too much" Jae ranted as she limped on her crutches while minji let out a laugh 

"Are you sure? maybe its because he finally has a guy to talk to, you know my dad gets that a lot too he gets bored with mom and me he misses heeseung who could talk to him about his worries and the matches of baseball they watched together please I don't wanna get started and maybe that's just how father byun wanted to interact with jake like how your grandpa must've opened up to him when they first met" minji spoke from her experiences making Jae realize something 

her dad had always been home with her mom and her, and she barely even was home even if she was she never spoke to them unless necessary 

he needed someone and in specific a man to talk about suppose games and like minji said baseball

"oh and also uncle sim and my father were somewhat best friends I didn't even know I mean I knew he liked the company of uncle sim he finally could talk to someone out of the doctor or surgeon world I suppose" 

"exactly maybe that's why he likes his son let them bond who knows its beneficial for your future" minji winked at Jae when they were entering the restroom 

"delulu" Jae commented as she entered the cubicle 

"I am serious Jae who knows what's gonna happen" 

"if you don't want my bathroom hands on your face you are gonna shut up" minji chuckled at what Jae said and spoke about something else 

"oh and I spoke about heeseung, I guess semi and heeseung are talking these days" 

"woah that's like a jackpot for fangirl semi, I mean she always liked heeseung" Jae yelled abut from the cubicle while answering natures call 

"oh but what I heard was that heeseung likes another girl from his university, he sent me her picture trust me if I were heavily gay I would be proposing to her right now" 

"what the fuck" Jae opened the door as she limped to wash her hands in the basin 

"but seems like she got engaged to her long term boyfriend" minji sighed wondering how her brother might have taken that on him
