it was the second day and of course, the second day is the day when the pain is worst on the body

her alarm kept ringing with the side note 'practice with roach' but it just kept ringing while she was in deep sleep

he woke up feeling tired and exhausted and looked on the right to his window, her window was closed, guessing that she would be resting he got up and got ready to go for practice alone

he kept sighing and running around the field. missing her presence beside him was the worst feeling he felt in a while

a whole month

she had to be off every sport and he wasn't happy about it, if the team lost at any point he knew for a fact that she would curse herself for being injured

he had to start being tough on the team again, now was not the time to melt. he had to do his best to get them up and keep the name up of his former coach and their university, and deep down he wanted to prove it to everyone that although he wasn't a professional, he handled the team well

he was lost in his thoughts when he felt a ball hit his butt

he immediately snapped out of his thoughts and turned around

"LOVESICK BOY" he rolled his eyes at that name and started running again

"you ass I told you not to tell that" sunghoon yeeted jay making him stumble on the side

"stop pushing me you ice crow"

the two bickered making jake run to the two and smack both of their heads

"stop increasing noise pollution in the morning," jake remarked and judged the two

jay snapped his head to him and smacked his shoulder "so hows my boy doing without his girl" he spoke like a legit grandpa, leaving jake with only one response "he's doing great-grandpapa, how are your medicines? I know someone who owns a pharmacy, he can provide you with all the medicines you need" his reply made sunghoon burst in fits of laughter and pat his head

"good job Jayla"

jake sighed and turned to ask them what was wrong

"why are y'all early here? don't you two have to sleep through your beauty sleep" jake asked as he walked back to the field with the two following him

"We just thought to give you some good company in absence of your lady" jay snickered, making sunghoon pinch him to stop

"I'm not a toddler"

sunghoon snapped his head in jake's direction "exactly! you aren't one, that is why you need company" he spoke making jake look at him in disgust

"damn calm your gae hormones for me, i know i am hot" he rolled his eyes and turned around

sunghoon gasped and fired back "come down from cloud 9, coz you feel on cloud 9 only when park sunghoon likes you and you ant, my shoelaces are longer than you"

"damn this ice crow had become thirsty crow"

"did you change the brand of your dog biscuits? I guess they've started mixing stupidity with them"

jay having enough of the two yelled to his best "SHUT UP!" the other two flinched slightly at his outbreak

"jake we've come to practice now better practice or else I'll break your leg, then pair with your girlfriend for the whole month" jay finished off by pulling their shirts with them in it, making them start running around again
