after their trip they six were back in Seoul. Jake had returned to be the coach he was and after a good amount of training, the kwonggan team were back on the field.
It was the 8th of November. The day Jae was going to get her cast off and the female team had their semi-final match. A big day is ahead for everyone.
"Team listen up, the other team is said to have reached here just by their luck, so keeping in mind that we need to beat them anyhow to reach finals. Now I need all of you to gather all the teamwork in you and love your mates before going on that field because today the team we face attacks each member separately and harshly so you all better hold all of your grudges aside and follow my rules" Jake said as he paced back and forth, mentally preparing the team
"And last but not the least, play fair" He added before leaving the changing room
"Ah I wish Jae was here she would help him calm down--"
"Semi shut up be aware of your surroundings" Minji shut semi's mouth and whisper yelled to her
"I'm sorry I'm sorry but finally we'll have Jae in the next game. I hope Jake doesn't go too harsh on her or else I'm stabbing him" The latter gritted her teeth, threatening the guy who had just gone out
"He shouldn't do that" Minji said and zipped her bag
"Okay now leave that, how is your brother? and he commented on my post I mean how romantic is that" Semi hid her face in one hand and punched minji with the other
"He commented on my post too, that isn't romantic"
"Stop spoiling my fake scenarios, we all have them and after you met sunghoon God knows what all goes through your brain for him"
Minji gave her a look before slamming her locker and going to the restroom semi, on the other hand, knew that her plan had worked
"Shut up semi let's go the match is starting"
"Come on we can do this" Sera told the team as they were leaving and gathering on the field
"Mom they won't tell me not to play soccer right? I can still play right" Jae asked her mother who was driving the car
"I don't know Jae but stop panicking please"
"I am not panicking mom" She cleared her throat and sunken into her
"Okay now shut up and let me drive in peace" Mother byun sighed and continued driving
"Alright team let's do this, make sure to check before passing the ball to your team player and please don't get injured" Sera spoke and parted away from them to go ahead for the toss
Whistle
the game started, just like other times the team lost and gained the possession of the ball but had no luck at scoring a goal.
in 30 minutes both teams had a chance to free-kick but failed to score any goals there
"MOM YOU SAID THIS WILL TAKE ONLY HALF AND HOUR" Jae yelled and whined sitting in her mom's cabin
"well I am sorry that the doctor got busy with an emergency" mother byun replied while going through her papers
"I had promised my friends to make it to the game" jae's voice was softer but a hint of sulking remained in it
"I can't help it Jae"
she sighed and opened her chat with jake and texted him that she won't be able to attend their game hoping that he would read it
