chapter 47: aproval

it was the 28th of October 

nothing much had happened in the days except for lots and lots of training for both men's and the women's team 

Jae was rather lonely because her best friends and her boyfriend were too busy

but not her boyfriends best friends so she thought she would 'socialize' a bit and approached them 

"hi, I'm Jae" she awkwardly said getting attention from the two who looked at her, weirded out by why she just introduced herself though they knew her very well

"hi Jae, what brings you to us?" sunghoon looked at her in confusion 

"oh I never spoke properly to the two of you properly or human-like, so hi?" she smiled brightly while jay and sunghoon exchanged awkward glances 

"oh oh okay" jay spoke and laughed awkwardly 

"so, uhm you two single?" she asked unsure of what twill they react 

"yeah sadly we are a single pringle" sunghoon admitted and shrugged his shoulder 

her lips formed a tiny 'o' before speaking "but you two are so handsome, how are you not taken" 

"probably everyone through we were so no one took the chance to hit on us" jay sighed and looked down but then his head snapped up to look at her and the sudden movement caught sunghoons attention who was now looking at him "set us up with your friends I guess" 

jae's eyes widened a bit and sunghoon who was staring at jay raised his hand to whack his head 

and he whacked him

"their standards are too high" she awkwardly spoke and giggled but then she heard someone break into fits of laughter

"YOU JUST DISSED THEM OOH GOD I LOVE THAT" the three snapped their heads to the dying jake who was

dying

"FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, JAE THANK YOU FOR BEING MY GIRLFRIEND" he was dying from all of the laughter 

"jake shut up" Jae yelled and averted her eyes to sunghoon and jay who were surely looking like they were planning jakes murder 

"I'm sorry I'm sorry ok ill stop" jake calmed down and came to them "now why is my girlfriend talking to my best friends," he asked a little question 

"oh god I wanna vomit" jay started choking himself 

"Nothing I was just bored" she shrugged her shoulders 

"oh by the way Jae are you done packing up for tomorrow?" sunghoon suddenly  spoke 

confusion plastered on her face on his question "for what?" 

"jake--"

"FUCK I FORGOT" he banged his head on his hand and looked at them "kill me the fuck" he mumbled without realizing 

"JAE I WANNA TALK TO YOU GET ON MY BACK" jake yelled and showed his back to her waiting for her to get on but she just stared at him judging his actions

"We are in college and I don't want the mosquitos to know what's between us so spill the beans you've been roasting," Jae said and sat on the bleachers not getting up 

"Since we have the weekend off sunghoon jay and I decided to go on a road trip but then I thought how about you and your friends join us isn't that a good idea?" jake blurted out quickly which took Jae a whole minute to realize to process 

"ok?" she responded with a puzzled face

"whats with the ok" jake asked now sitting beside her

"ask my parents if a girl with a broken leg can come for a road trip"
