This is Berk, it is twelve days north of Hopeless and a few degrees south of Freezing to Death. It is located solidly on the Meridian of Misery. At first glance it may not seem like much but this wet heap of rock packs more than a few surprises. The island is plagued by constant dragon raids so every viking on the island has to learn how to defend the island. All but two vikings, and it is those two vikings that will be front and center of the events to come.
