A/N: Well... I finally came around to finish this one up. And it was, to my surprise, not a rewrite of the original chapter 11 but I actually included this one unexpectedly after many people asked me about the large time skip mentioned in the previous chapter and why Kritika had to go to Kanyakul. I initially didn't have a huge explanation for that one or the interlude years but then I got this idea a few days back and decided to expand on it and see where it took me. And it ended up like this. im_so_bored29, I hope this answers your question.

English.

"No, I won't. It is just something- Duckling, what happened? Why are you so tensed and worried?" Kartik asked in worry.

"Bratha Arjuna and Duryodhana... I don't know what happened... just come quick!"

"Can someone please explain what is going on?" Kritika asked, fed up when no one seemed to be in the mood of explaining anything. Like, if they were going to call them, they should at least tell them what was wrong, right?

But neither of the boys seemed to be in a mood to explain anything as they led them towards the river.

"Is it that serious?" Kartik joked as he clapped Kritika's back before using her as the leverage to jump forward. The twins usually weren't this silent... but then again, it wasn't like they were always chatting every day too.

As they moved closer, the voices started to grow out, though it was also a lot more muffled by the number of people standing around.

"Seems like Duryodhana and Arjuna are fighting over an oyster shell." Yudhisthira greeted, an amused tone coating his voice when he saw the duo had also joined into the conversation.

"They're what?" the duo asked in confusion. Where in the world did it come from? They were, after all, creatures of the sea. At least that's what they knew. It really made no sense. And why were these two specifically fighting over it?

"I found it first!"

"No! I did!"

"I was the first one to see it!"

"No! I saw it way before you!"

"Guys is that even a legitimate shell?"

"Of course it is!" Arjuna said, tossing it over to Kritika.

"I'd say it is fake."

"No it's not."

"Looks like an ordinary piece of rock to me" Kartik agreed as he studied it closer. "An interesting shade for a rock, but a rock all the same."

"But it looks like-"

"It's a rock. Carved one maybe?"

"Ooooh! Or it could be a fossil?"

"Don't be silly. It can't be a fossil!"

"Why not? We are by the river bed and it is a shell that could've been etched in a rock-"

"But those take years! And are buried deep under!"

"Doesn't mean they don't come out at all!"

"Yeah, but no one digs for them specifically!"

"Umm... we called the two of them to diffuse an argument... right?" Nakula whispered furiously.

"Well, they did kind of diffuse it but seem to have started one of their own I think" Dussasana shot back as the back and forth never seemed to end while the poor stone? Shell? Was lying in one corner, gently lapping by the river as if it were trying to escape the place. Maybe it was for the best. When the two of them were being stubborn headed, no one had the ability to diffuse them unless they'd sorted it out for themselves.
