Ok so... I normally wouldn't resort to this but well, I've been planning to let out the next chapter for the past month, though it has been pretty hectic with exams, culturals and college events, which are also happening this month along with the practicals end semesters and stuff so... I will try to update this month but I make no promises that I know I cannot possibly keep. But until then, here is a snippet from the chapter ;)
Kartik I... I miss mom and dad. A lot. I feel like it was my fault... If I hadn't... If it wasn't... No, it was not my fault, I know that you'll say that but I just sometimes feel like... Nevermind, it's not a big issue.
Kartik let out a sad sigh as he read that passage. The only times she tells something like that was if either she was having a really shitty day, if she was missing them or... If she was being bullied. And he had a feeling that it was the latter and was feeling so angry that this was happening to her. Again.
"What happened?" Duryodhana asked as he saw the paper slowly being crushed under Kartik's fingers.
"Nothing. Nothing much. Just the usual. Nothing is wrong."
"Something happened to her, isn't it? Who is it? What happened?"
"Nothing she wouldn't be able to handle by herself. Leave it."
"If that were the case, you wouldn't react this way."
"Dury, Sit the fuck down, shut the fuck up and leave it. It's not your concern."
Until next time folks!
Rasnak signing off :) ;)
