Future- Jo wilson Point of view

I watched as Link paced around the room with Scout in his arms. "You know I came to talk, not watch you burn a hole in the floor." I joked. He paused for a moment and took a deep breath. "How?" What? What did he mean by that. How? How what? "Link,  your going to have to elaborate." I asked, moving a throw pillow from the couch. Link wasn't one for throw pillows, so it's must've been Elizabeth's from when she used to live here.

"How did people move on with their lives. Yes I've experienced pain before, but never this bad. I've lost people before. But I lost my sister, Jo. My sister the one person I thought I'd have forever." He said, while bouncing Scout in his arms. Scout was the one thing keeping him sane. I always thought Amelia would be the person to, but I was wrong. I was wrong about that woman, so incredibly wrong.

"Link." I started, but he interrupted me. "Jo, I know you want to be a good friend, but please don't say it'll get better." One I wasn't go to say that, because that doesn't help anyone. If anything it just makes them feel worse. " Link it will always hurt, there's no doubt in my mind. But one day the pain will be bearable. Still there, but bearable." I said, as he slowly started to sit down next to me.

He sighed and handed me Scout. I loved this little boy, I'm glad to be having a baby of my own. With Alex.

"Have you spoken to Andrew Yet?" He asked, looking at his hands. I nodded. "Currently he's staying with Carina and Maya, you know making sure he's taking care of himself"

"And you drain out the water, be careful you don't want to burn yourself." Deluca said, as I grabbed the pot of spaghetti noodles. I slowly went to the sink and dropped the noodle into the stainer and got all the remaining water before I put it back in the pot.  "See not as hard as you thought it was?" He asked, as he meet the sauce and meatballs on it.

Just yesterday Deluca made the offer to help me cook, I didn't think he'd actually go through with it. "I actually thought you'd pick harder dishes." I said, as I washed my hands. " I just wanted to started easy, next week we'll do this one dish my mom used to make me and Carina as kids." Now that had me curious, I didn't know that many Italian dishes.

"Oh, and what is that?" I asked, drying my hands off with the rag. Deluca laughed and shook his head. "That would ruin the surprise." I playfully smack him with the wet rag, he laughed. He walked over to the sink, I was a little confused but then he turned on the water. Then sprayed me with so said water. I jumped and squealed, shocked that he did that, and I always didn't know that the little hose thing came off the sink.

"Hey!" That was rude." I said, while not being able to stop laughing. He shook his head. "Well you hit me with a rag, all's fair in love and war." We laughed as Jo, Link, and Alex came running in. "Is everything alright?" Link asked, looking between me and Deluca. "All we heard was screaming, we thought maybe Deluca decided he wanted more surgeries and stabbed you, Elizabeth." Alex added.

Deluca rolled his eyes as he went to get some plates. I walked over to the living room with the rest of the group, to wait for the food to cool down. "Your not falling for him right?" Jo asked, she looked slightly concerned. "He has a girlfriend, though that doesn't really matter here." Alex added. I have decided though Alex is weird, he is the perfect match for Jo. "What! No! No! It's not like that okay, we're just friends."

"Sure, friends look at each other like that want to get into each other's pants." Alex said, sarcastically. Jo smacked Alex's arm as he let out a little ow. "We're just scared you'll get hurt, right Link?" Jo said, as she turned to look at my brother. "Just now that your my little sister, I'll always love you, I'll always be on your side." He gave me a small hug and pulled away when we heard Deluca shout that dinner was ready.

This was going to be a long night.
