"Damn it," I curse under my breath as the computer chip fails to sync with the cat again. I toss it back across the table towards Elliot who immediately picks it up and begins to work on cleaning the connectors again. I watch Elliot while trying to get myself together. The frustration is getting to me.

From the little I've seen of Kinley Foy, she definitely favors her father a lot. They have the same delicate sharp nose, same slightly full lips that curl in the corners a bit like a cat's smile, and angular features. If not for the shadow along his chin and cheeks Elliot would be almost too feminine in appearance. Those features definitely look best on his daughter, though he isn't a bad looking man. He has the whole I-live-in-a-computer-cave-and-only see-the sun-when-I-have-to look about him. To be fair, it's been a rough couple of years for him.
