~Raven POV~

It's been a week since the incident and my chest fully healed but Aeron didn't tell the others to "avoid suspicious" I don't see the big deal why the fuck is he's hiding it? He could be a valuable asset to the team but he's acting like a dumbass

My claws hit the ground and I can feel my heartbeat in my chest

Aeron them I was going out of a run...I guess he wasn't wasn't lying but he failed to tell them he was running is his other form

"Remember stay in the woods" can't he shut up for 5 seconds

"Yes your majesty" I roll my eyes and continue running

After a few more minutes I slowly down to walk I roam around the wood behind the facility for a few minutes then I see a large figure with a shiny thing attached to it

"RAVEN NO" what's this dude's deal

"I sware to god you little flea bag" oooooo I'm so scared (not)

"He looks hot I'm going to go talk to him" I start to make my way over

"No no no Raven" I let out a low whine catching- OH FUCK

He didn't do anything he just stared at me with wide eyes

"Hi I'm Raven" I attempted to smile

James slowly walks up to me and he started to pet me...?

"Your a shifter?" he said still a little hesitant 

"Mhm" I started purring and laid down

He chuckled and sat next to me and continued looking at me in amazement how the hell is he not shitting himself right now

"How did you know?" I relaxed and let him do whatever he wanted

"It's not every day you see a black and purple lion roaming around New York" he said

"True. True" I can't come up with anything better I'm to relaxed god he smells amazing

"It's Aeron..." he paused his hand for a second before stroking my fur again

"I knew there was something he was hiding" he smiled

~James POV~

"He said he wants to cuddle you" Raven looked up at me with sad eyes and laid his head on my lap

"We can meet again later I have a lot of questions" his ears perked up and his tail started wagging

"OK" he got up and trotted over a few feet away from me

"Do you want my extra clothes for a little" he chuckles

"Please" I grab my duffel bag next to me and pass it to him
