❪ 001. ❫ a new chapter

YOU KNOW THAT FEELING . . . when you feel like your being trapped, suffocating━in an never ending loop. that was kristen's life, that very moment when she was taken now became a lost memory in her mind as she was now too deep in that seemingly un-breakable loop. she became bitter as her voice laced with venom, a huge difference from the once innocent and pure voice she once had as a child. it always went like this━━training, mission's, torturing and repeat. at this point in time she doesn't fight anymore, she doesn't have the normal fear in her eyes, her eye's are only now filled with darkness and no emotion.

She's made friends while being in w.a.r.p or as she likes to call them colleagues. the closest person she's ever had as a friend was her partner Vera Gordon. they were enemy's at first, always fighting━━until the Syrian mission where Kristen saved Vera from falling to her death after killing the emperor.

Along the way they've come to protect each other. Kristen truely has a soft spot for Vera but would never admit it no matter how many times Vera confronted her about it.

But the events of today was what neither of them saw coming.

" all widows report to the main lodge , i repeat all widows report to the main lodge!!! "

It was 4 in the morning and Kristen was not happy " what the hell do they want now ! " she said as she got out of bed. " someones grumpy today " vera replied as she too got up. " do you enjoy getting woke up at this time of the hour ? i think not ! "  Vera laughed at her friends grumpiness. " well lets go before they drag us down there by our teeth " all Kristen did was roll her eyes, but knew what Vera said was true ━ as she's experienced it before hand. they made their way to the main lodge where all the widows were standing, each standing straight not one of them slouching no matter how tired or injured they were. it was a rule every widow had to abide by or there would be high consequences.

" You might all be wondering why we called you all down here at this time-"━━"No shit sherlock" Kristen replied knowing there was a chance he heard her. He seemed visibly angry as he didn't think one of the widows would step up and interrupt him. " SILENCE NOW !! " at that moment there was extreme silence even if a pin dropped you could hear it. " we've gathered you all here to announce that you will be having a new leader and that Lieutenant Leonard will no longer be your leader ".

Kristen and Vera were both shocked. but the rest of the widows were becoming nervous of who their new leader would be. who was their new leader and why ?
