nats pov

nat has noticed that clint has been smiling at his phone the whole meeting, not paying attention to a single long, boring sentence tony spoke. who is he messaging? It can't be laura, she'd tell him to do his job, it's not nat. then who the hell is it? nat knows he doesn't have many friends. she snorts at herself for this which gets her a few weird looks but she decides to wait it out and get a hold of his phone later.

a few more brief sentences with come snarky tony stark jokes and the meeting is over, all the avengers disperse into different places. clint,
sam, bucky, wanda and nat settle in the living room and pick a movie to watch. there are a few arguements on what to pick, bucky wants some black and white movie from the 40s, sam wants some documentary about music, wanda and clint want something fantasy, nat honestly couldnt care less. they settle on the hunger games for some unknown reason.

a few minutes into the movie nat nudges clint 'can you make popcorn please" she whispers to him, because she knows if she gets any louder wanda will probably strangle her.

"make it yourself" clint replies.

"but i'm really tired" nat slumps down and acts all achy to really convince him.

"fine but you're doing it next time"
a round of cheers from the others is heard as clint walks to the kitchen.

nat looks over at clints seat on the sofa. YES. he left his phone. she quickly grabs it and puts the password in. she figured out ages ago, it wasnt hard. she looks at his messages and sees that he has been messaging a person called y/n. nat laughs when shes see y/n called him a nonce, whoever y/n is, damn i like her already. nat quickly grabs her own phone and saves the number to it. this will be fun.
