after working on our projects at the stark internship for another 2 hours, tony called happy over. he drove us back to school which had just finished.

'bye guys i'll cya tomorrow!'
i said skipping away like a fairy, which regreted immediately after getting several weird looks.

they all bidded their own farwells to me as they watched me leave. i then began my journey home, which never feels as long with my own true love - music.

when i made my way back to the orphanage did my homework and i ate dinner with the others as usual. we chilled downstairs for a while but my mind kept drifting to the events of my day every so often, having to be snapped at to get me out of my trance. To say i was stunned was an under statement.

i headed upstairs after that and got dressed into my pyjamas. I smiled to myself, finding happiness in knowing that their were people who wouldn't reject me at first glance. my friends, weird strangers on the phone, hell, even the goddamn avengers.

those thoughts were quickly distracted by a message from my favourite groupchat.

it was cute to hear about y/n's day from her point of view as well as her opinions on us avengers. im glad im her favourite, but fuck she noticed the handshake thing. she could tell something was up and its only a matter of time until she figures it out. might as well drop some hints tomorrow.

when the conversation on the groupchat ended i walked out of my room hearing others doors open too. out rooms are all located near eachother so its easy to know if people are leaving or entering.

i stood in my doorway as all the others came out and did the same. in an instant we burst out into laughter. we laughed so hard our faces started to resemble he tomatoes sam and bucky had been fighting about.

'she really doesn't know?' i exclaimed in a fit of giggles.
'she likes my cooking!' wanda replied
'that was cute' clint said

'TOMATOES ARE NOT A FRUIT-'
'oh shut up bucky' we all said.

'i wanna tell her so badddd'

we talked about her for a while and started to devise a plan. we were going to try and make her think she figured it out, she was already skeptical so might as well let our guards down.

we would ask her questions on the groupchat and then bring up those exact things in conversation. no more hiding, we just want her to know. and hopefully, y/n, being the smart kid she is, will realise 'oh shit ive been texting the avengers.'

and then we'll all be like.

'YEAH U HAVE U CUTIE'

well atleast thats the plan, theres no telling whether it will work or whether sam and bucky will completely fuck it up.
