Waking up from my chiming chrono next to me I slammed it with my hand to make it stop. Rolling over to get comfortable I was about to fall asleep again when I remembered last night. My eyes shot open as a wide grin spread on my lips. Today is going to be a fantastic day. I got out of bed and got dressed in my usual dark grey working pants, a brown tunic, my boots and equipt my tool belt and vambrace. Fixing my hair so it wouldn't get in my face during the day I got out of my room and locked it behind me. I was almost skipping all the way to the mess for morning grubb and I waved happily at every trooper or crew member that passed by. On the way I messaged Rex, Echo, Fives, Jesse, Kix and Hawk to meet me in the mess. I entered and got some grub before sitting down by an empty table to await the others. Only a minute or two later they all walked in through the doors as a collected group. Well that's convenient that they all show up at the same time. Rex spotted me and they all came over and sat down at the table. Rex was next to me on my right with Echo and Fives on the same side, the rest sat on the opposite side. They looked at me expectantly as Rex voiced their collective thought,

"What's so important that you wanted all of us here?"

I smiled mischievously and giggled,

"Oh you'll see. Haven't you noticed that two key troopers aren't here..?"

they all looked around and Fives was the first one to understand as he whipped his head back to me with wide eyes,

"No you didn't."

I only nodded as my smile was almost consuming my face. Kix's face paled when he realized and he looked at me with horror,

"Please tell me you're not giving me extra work."

"Don't worry Kix, the only ones with extra work are the double trouble duo."

Rex was about to question me but before he had the time I saw Hothead and Chiller walk in through the door, their armor covered in bright pink paint from their boots to their helmets. I broke out into full on laughter as I saw the two standing by the door for everyone in the mess hall to see. The others at the table turned to see what I was laughing at, Fives, Kix, Jesse and Hawk also started to laugh hysterically like me. Rex and Echo only shook their heads at my prank but Rex couldn't help but to smile brightly when no one saw. As Hothead and Chiller made their way through the crowd I was crying of laughter and I was hunched over as I tried to get some air in my lungs. Rex elbowed me as they stood by my end of the table with extremely annoyed and embarrassed facial expressions. I took a few deep breaths and calmed myself before looking up to meet their eyes. I cleared my throat and put my hand over my mouth to stop myself from laughing again when I saw their beautiful bright pink armor. Hothead was tightening his fists by his sides as he spoke in a low and dangerous voice,

"Oh, so you think this is funny, do you?"

I was still giggling at them and the fact that Fives and Jesse were both still laughing at them behind me wasn't helping. Clearing my throat once more to push down my laughter I answered him with a bright smile,

"Yes, yes I do. I think this is very funny actually, wouldn't you agree?"

by the look that Hothead was giving me I could tell that if I didn't start running soon I would be dead on the floor within seconds. Sneakily shifting my legs from under the table to make it possible for me to run away I distracted the very angry Hothead,

"I must say, the color of your hair does clash a little with the pink. I think we should dye your hair pink as well so you can fully match your armor. What do you think, Chiller?"
