Ice Veins - it's a sickness that I made up for the story. Basically a form of Hypothermia that starts at your veins and works it's way outwards on your body, often caught on an ice planet. So every clone has to take a form of vaccine towards it since they travel between so many different worlds.

Mando'a used in the chapter:

"Kaysh mirsh solus." - "He's an idiot." or literal translation, "His brain cell is lonely."

"Udesii" - "calm down", or "take it easy"

"Ad'ika" - "kid, boy, darling, son, daughter, child"

"Alor'ad" - "Captain"

The next day my body was extremely sore and I even had trouble standing up from my bunk. It took me way longer to get dressed in my usual working clothes and equipment. When I knelt down to tie my boots I had to use the chair by my desk to heave myself up. Work today is going to be so wonderful. Making sure my hair was out of my face for the day I slowly started walking to the mess for some grub. I got some looks from passing troopers and crew members since it sorta looked like I was limping. After getting the food and dropping down onto the bench by the table I put my head against the cool table to relax my body. Almost everything was aching like I had done an extreme work out without stretching afterwards or someone was constantly trying to pull my limbs apart. After forcing down the food by myself I decided to get started on my work and actually fix something again. It felt like forever had passed since I last repaired something so I painfully made my way over to the hangar and checked the log. I scrolled through and saw that all the other mechanics were keeping up with repairs which I was thankful for. Except for the LAAT/c magnetic clamps of course. No one in this kriffing hangar wanted to fix the magnetic clamps on them because of how high up you had to be. Sighing in annoyance I carefully stretched my arms and legs since I had to be hanging upside down on the belly of them. I double checked my tool belt before walking over to the LAAT/c. On the side of it there was a small ladder built into the exterior hull that you climbed to get to the magnetic clamps. I got to climbing it, every step up was equally as painful as the next. The worst part was when I swung down from the wing to be able to place my legs in between the big pipe and the hull. The strain in my arms made me grunt from pain and I quickly placed my legs in the spot so I could switch holds to the handle bars parallel to the leg-holding pipe. When I was in place I would get to work on the clamp. Fortunately there wasn't much repairing needed but every second was straining. As I was finishing up I heard a pair of footsteps approaching rapidly. That doesn't sound good. I wanted to turn my head and look but that could increase the risk of me losing my grip and falling with the lack of strength I had. Hearing them stop almost right underneath me they finally spoke up, or rather yelled,

"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING UP THERE?!"

Kix. Maybe I should've checked that he wasn't nearby since I technically shouldn't be working yet. I stiffened and gave a very vague reply,

"..working?"

"YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO WORK! GET DOWN NOW OR I SWEAR BY THE LIGHT OF LOTHAL'S MOONS THAT YOU WILL REGRET IT!"

"But I'm almost finished with the repair! I just need a few more minutes and I can-"

"(Y/N)!"

"Come on Kix! I'm just doing my job!"

he scoffed before replying,

"What do you think I'm doing?! I'm gonna start counting!"

my eyes widened and I put away my tool as I tried pleading to him,
